Peyton, not the real deal. You better believe Peyton is the real deal. Last 5 years throw for over 4,000 + yards. This years Co-MVP, which I think he should of won alone. But McNair also did produce big wins, played hurt, and still had the top stats.
Right now, all I am hearing to back their reason for why KC wins this game is because they are hard to beat at home. Well, look at the teams they played at home, all nobodies, with the exception of Denver. And in that game, Denver was seemingly one play away from handing the KC it only loss. If not for the Kick Off return for a TD to give KC the lead, they would of probably have lost. Dont be fooled by this home field of KC. Indy will be the toughest team they will face all year at home. That KC def wont stop Indys Off and KC will also get their points. Now that Peyton has gotten the so called Monkey off his back by winning his first playoff game, I can only envision him and this Indy squad being completely upbeat and focused for the next step. Dont also forget Coach Dungy, he is a Defensive Guru, and this would definately give him a big advantage over his counter, in developing a game plan to address this KC Off. Last week was a perfect example of how he made adjustments to shutdown Denver. Indys Off is rolling. Coach Dungy will focuse on the Def and this gets my attention.
What wins Championships? Def.
What is needed to open up the pass? The Run.
What are the results of teams ending their season on a downward slide?
Can Indy and Peyton win games in the snow and cold? Yes, the one that comes to mind is against Denver at Denver in the snow, I think it was last year.
Can Indy win games on the road? yes , this year the went 7-1.
Now I am not completely sold on Indy or KC, and things like this stat is one reason why. Peyton doesnt play to well on grass. He has thrown only 6 TDs and thrown 7 ints.
This game is on grass. I need to look and break down those game he played on grass. Still, those who are playing KC just because of this game is in KC, or because this game follows a winning trend, is not a smart thing to do. Peyton and this Colt team is the real deal. More info needed in this game. KC at home just not strong enough to sway me in this one.
