hey, sorry... i started that other thread... i did look for this thread and the one i referenced but didn't see them.

lots of games seemed to be considered....

but from what i can see 4-2 on the list that qualfied..... 2-1 (SDSU and NM winners, SoMiss on games that were pulled). also akron.

i think SDSU was pulled maybe because they became favourite so maybe it should still qualify a pick.

SDST never quite made the running dogs role, but they had a HUGE run advantage over Cincy. One borderline team is Clemson. They aren't quite the running dogs, but the numbers are real close (1.55 to 1.42). TCU/Oregon numbers are dead even (0.76). Game is a pick. So Miss never was a running dog, but it was close.

Clearly Air force would make the list, as would Baylor although there are injury considerations with the Bears. I suppose one could make a slight case for Nevada although those teams look very similar stat wise.
