No ironing board on the moon :think2:

There is wind on the moon? In zero gravity?
I don't know what the flag should do but I do know it shouldn't do on Earth what it does on the Moon.

People give Runmaker a bad time about this but we have learned you absolutely can not trust the Govt. And this was done when there wasn't news and media like now so it would be far easier to stage

My guess is it would stand up due to no gravity and my guess is the astronaut had it folded in a pocket in his space suit, so wrinkled...

Still sticking with original question though to Runmaker whether he believes in the other landings??

There is gravity on the moon, it’s just very weak compared to earth. The flag was rolled up for weeks inside a tube on a ladder of the lunar module. A telescoping rod was then inserted through the seam on top, so it would not drop straight down after they planted it on the moon’s surface

Here’s a video of the flag being put up on a subsequent mission

Look at the picture. The answer is right in front of your face. It still amazes me that a grown, educated man like Willie can fall for this child's play. It appears you are of the same duping.

I was a 2nd Lt. and a newly minted, USAF officer and aviator, flying C-130s. One of my first operational missions was to fly some troops to Andrews AFB. We stayed in D.C. for two days. On one day, we wemt to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. When I saw the LEM and especially when I saw the lunar rover exhibit, a life size mock-up, I told one of my crewmates, another 2nd Lt., copilot, that this is b.s., no way they landed the LEM with that rover. After seeing that exhibit, I started questioning the veracity of the lunar landings. Most professional aviators do not have the balls to even question the lunar missions, let alone say that they were fake. Look at 911, any active aviator who questions 911 will be grounded. Few will say a thing when they know the Pentagon strike was a virtual impossibilty.

Do tell where all the O2 was kept for them to breathe, for a scuba divers tank will only last for about an hour without complicated rebreather technology. Surly there was no such device then. -Two astronots breathing 02 from the time they left earth, to the time they returned to earth about seven days just where was all this 02 stored? A SCUBA divers tank which holds 80 cubit feet of air would calculate to 13,440 cubic feet of air needed for roughly 7 days just for two people. The air locks between the lunar rover and the outside, none. Fantasy the lot.

Start at 13:14

See the picture at 13:33

Probably a good jumping in point to start watching the video from there.

No way , are there still people that think this is real? I thought I was 1 of the last people defending it, until I researched it and man, was I naive. Maybe buzz can tell nasa how they got thru the van ALLEN radiation belts since we dont currently have the technology to do so. Start with that.

Where do these quotes from? Who is the second Lieutenant you are quoting here? Your idiotic conspiracy page didn’t bother including this?

COMPLEX SUBSYSTEMS PERFORMED VITAL FUNCTIONS

At the heart of each spacecraft were its subsystems. "Subsystem" is space-age jargon for a mechanical or electronic device that performs a specific function such as providing oxygen, electric power, and even bathroom facilities. CSM and LM subsystems performed similar functions, but differed in their design because each had to be adapted to the peculiarities of the spacecraft and its environment.

Begin with the environmental control system - the life-support system for man and his machine. It was a marvel of efficiency and reliability, with weight and volume at a premium. A scuba diver uses a tank of air in 60 minutes; in Apollo an equivalent amount of oxygen lasted 15 hours. Oxygen was not simply inhaled once and then discarded: the exhaled gas was scrubbed to eliminate its CO[SUB]2[/SUB] recycled, and reused. At the same time, its temperature was maintained at a comfortable level, moisture was removed, and odors were eliminated. That's not all: the same life-support system also maintained the cabin at the right pressure, provided hot and cold water, and a circulating coolant to keep all the electronic gear at the proper temperature. (In the weightless environment of space, there are no convective currents, and equipment must be cooled by means of circulating fluids.) Because astronauts' lives depended on this systern, most of the functions were provided with redundancy - and yet the entire unit was not much bigger than a window air conditioner.

So, you do or don’t believe in the other crewed landings between 1969 and 1972??
