Here in Costa Rica there isn't much to choose from. Beer, Vodka, whisky and tequila. My drink of choice here is Absolut Vodka "con" tonic. Corona is also a favorite.

EarlySpeed, any particular label.
25 year-old Macallan- best(Highland malt)
21 year-old Springbank-excellent(Campbeltown)
16 year-old Lagavulin-Peaty and a little spicey,but very,very good(Islay)
10 year-old Talisker-a little smoother but great for the age
Glenrothes, hand scripted vintage notation on each bottle; impressive flavor

Sam Adams Boston Lager(not the ale,or that sickening new light)
Bombay Gin over with a twist, two coctail(pimento,no pit)olives, and believe this, a kalamata olive. What gin does to a kalamata olive is fabulous.

Saphire & Tonic!!

At a bar last night and a guy walked up and asked for Grey Goose..The Bartender says Grey Goose???!!! The guy says ya, Grey Goose! Bartender says well dont you know that it is made in France? He says no I did not, I guess Ill have Kettle one. A little later the same thing happens with another customer. I could not believe it... When I go to a bar I want to drink...I do not got to hear the bartenders poitical views...anyways a friend of mine shows up and orders a Grey Goose Martini, Bartender again feels the need to tell a customer that it is made in France..My friend says I dont care I want Grey Goose please. (This is the part that blows my mind) I watch the bartender go back to make the drink and he whispers to the other bartender and says "screw it Im making it with Kettle One" AND HE PROCEEDS TO MAKE THE DRINK WITH KETTLE ONE!!!! Can you believe this guy? I tell my friend what he said and that he did not use Grey Goose in his Martini...Well my friend is a V.I.P. member at the resteraunt (Morton's steakhouse) and instead of saying something to the bartender at the time he just wrote a nice little E-mail to the corporate offices this morning. I dont want this guy to get fired but he's got to realize that his job is to make drinks not impose his political views on others. If someone asks for Grey Goose pour the man some Grey Goose Gosh Darnit!!

Leave it up to trying to win to turn a thread about alcohol into a gay reference. I'm sorry you can't get laid by women.

I'll add a couple to this list.

If at a casino I order a premium imported beer like Heineken, St Paul, Beck's etc

At a restaurant where I'm actually paying for it directly,.. it's tap water on ice

I was a graveyard Vegas bartender for a year or so on lower Fremont st, I've made some disgusting drinks in my day, had this female customer that drank well tequila and Pepsi, mixed, that about makes me want to vomit

As a semi-pro alcoholic, I'll give you my recipe for an at home knock out beverage, do not drive after even of these !

It's dirt cheap, I call it a Dubra-7

You start with an empty wide mouthed plastic bottle, that means a washed out Gatorade bottle

Take the cheapest generic 80 proof Vodka you can get ( often Dubra), it really makes no difference what brand it is when mixing it !

About 4 ounces of Dubra into your Gatorade bottle, add about 18 ounces of 7-up type
Lemon-lime pop, diet version is fine, so you're at 32 ounces, 2 ounces or so of a dark colored sports drink like grape Powerade, not important just for color really, puts at around 24 oz, stuff in several ice cubes in the wife mouthed bottle, add some iced water, you now are.drinking like a pro !
Cost =maybe $1

Caution this only for professional drunks

Wouldn’t drink anything but vodka for the past 4 years. Go to brand is Absolute. I like it and hardly experience a hangover. Stay away from any sugary mixer. Soda water and a pinch of lime.

Recently had a hankering for a beer. Only thing that came to mind was Becks. Very crisp and refreshing. Definitely a beer for a hot day.
