Monchengladbach lineup is very attack minded. Couple that with the fact that they can't defend even with their starters, and this has 2-2, 3-2 all over it. Marseille starting Remy and Ayew so we should see a couple goals from them.

Molde have been one of the surprises in the early parts of the group stage. They have proven their worth, but traveling to Bucharest will not be an easy task for them. Steaua can light up the score sheet, while I expect Molde to grab one of their own as well.

Results from 1:00
Tottenham/Maribor under 2.5 -115 (WIN 1-1 final)
Sparta Prague/HAPOEL Ironi over 2.5 -125 (WIN 3-1 final)

Pending at 3:00:

Marseille/Borussia Monchengladbach over 2.5 +105
Marseille +175
Molde/Steaua Bucuresti over 2.5 -125
Bordeaux/Maritimo under 2 +115
Hapoel Tel Aviv +175

Champions League Record: 4-3 (+2.65)

Today's picks:

FC Porto PK -105

Porto rarely lose games. In a tightly fought group they know a win will all but secure their progression to the next stage. They have to travel to PSG still so a win here will still give them the upper hand on first place. Their strikers are in form and they are a well managed team. They went to Ukraine and won in the group stage last year (2-0 at Shakhtar). I see a similar thing happening here.

AC Milan EV

Milan are back and full of confidence after coming back from 2-0 down at Palermo, then thrashing Chievo 5-1 on the weekend. Montolivo and Bojan are rounding into form, while El Sharaawy has been a revelation for them. Malaga are off to a hot start but look for Milan to see off the inexperienced Spanish side in a very hostile setting at the San Siro.

Ajax +1.5 -130

Really? Do I have to explain this? Getting +1.5 with an Ajax team who are capable of scoring goals in bunches, against a Manchester City team who have no form of chemistry and have been more than underwhelming in Champions League for the second straight year is a gift. City know they need a win so they will push forward and attack leaving themselves exposed at the back. I think Ajax can earn a draw here, they are full of confidence and Champions League experience and that can be very dangerous.

Dortmund/Madrid under 3 +105

Why are these Dortmund totals still this high? They rarely concede, they are disciplined and hard to break down. On the road they have some trouble scoring goals and will be hesitant in moving too many men forward on the attack. I can easily see a 1-0 Real Madrid win here, or a 1-1 draw. I expect a hard fought game, where a draw wouldn't hurt either team.

GL everyone! Can't wait to watch these games, nothing like Champions League football

Thanks buddy... not the same luck for the other three though!

Went 1-2-1 today, won on Ajax +1.5, lost on Milan and under Madrid, push on Porto

Champions League record to date: 5-5-1 (+1.65).

That really tics me off. Real Madrid were lucky to escape that with a point. Nice free kick from Ozil but goalkeeper has to do better getting down and stopping that. Especially with just one minute left. Should never have gone over. I expected a draw from Porto (hence the pk), just thought their good form would get them the winner.

Lot's of heavy favs today, the way this tournament has been going with a lot of dogs winning, I expect that to change today. Some value out there if you really look, but nothing too great. So here's my picks for today:

Valencia/BATE under 2.5 +120

Valencia will be wary of the threat the Belarusians pose offensively. Bagging three goals at Lille, then three at home to Bayern means Valencia won't take them lightly (as seen by their 3-0 victory last match day). Valencia should keep another clean sheet here and bag a couple themselves. With the great value we're getting at +120, I can't pass this up on what looks like a 2-2 scoreline.

Juventus/Nordsjaelland under 3.5 -115

Juventus score 4 goals? Not going to happen. Juventus conceding at home to the Danes? Not going to happen. Meaning? Four goals are not being scored in this one.

CFR Cluj pk -110

Still don't see all the hype surrounding Galatasaray. They're Turkey's version of Manchester City, while Cluj is Romania's version of Ajax. A group of individuals on Galatasaray vs. a tight knit team in Cluj, give me the Romanian's, thank you. Cluj at home should be too much for Galatasaray to handle, who have picked up just one point in their last nine away matches in this competition.

GL today!

cluj couldn't even beat the terrible manchester united so i don't know......haha....i lost a few CL bets going against cluj i figure the first time i bet them it will cost me. I am not being fooled taking Chelski at evens either even though i like it.......why would you want to cheer for them anyway? Good day to cheer against clubs so no need to risk money for me. GL -

LOL! Those awful Red Devils!

And I completely agree with you on Chelsea. I like them to win at Stamford Bridge, but why such a short price?? Shakhtar is good but their road woes in Europe are well documented. I think this had 1-1 draw written all over it. Same with United. People see United at + money and they jump all over it. Little do most realize, with three games left in the group stage, United just need one win to advance. I can see them lacking any real urgency today and tying or even losing. Then again, it's still United and Sir Alex hates losing games so logic says United win. But I'll stay away from a fishy +110 line

Willian is lighting up Chelsea... they tried buying him. I guess he took it personal that they didn't.

They tried to buy him twice, fell through though. Not because they didn't want Willian though, Shakhtar wouldn't let him go for the price Chelsea were offering. They ended up going with Oscar. Not a bad goal from Oscar either... But Shakhtar's passing is something special.

Bad day for me today, but Celtic made it all better. What a great game that was, Tony Watson, just 18 years old, already a Scottish hero!

I hate days like this with so many big favs. I parlayed Bayern, Valencia and Man United pk, but I'm not posting stuff like that here. Big ml favs in a parlay, anyone can win cheaply like that. Thought we had value with the unders, Valencia exploded and Juve scored late to push it over. Frustrating day. And of course Galatasaray pick today to win their first in ten games on the road.

Updated records to come after today's games... got a lot of stuff on my plate today so I won't be around much.

PSV -1 +105

PSV have been known to fair better in this stage of the competition on the road then they do at home. Drawing last match day to AIK left them with a bad taste in their mouth and a dog fight for second place with Napoli. This is a must win game for them and we don't have to worry about their motivation for this one. These Dutch sides take the competition seriously, because it could mean a lot of money for their club. Last year at this stage in the competition PSV won 3-1, 1-0 and 3-0 on the road. Look for a repeat of that scoreline here today.

Newcastle/Brugge under 2.5 -105, Newcastle PK -115

Brugge are a mess. They are back to their losing ways in Belgium and in the Europa League and have just fired their coach. The team is in shambles and now face a Newcastle team that can secure their spot in the next round with a win here today. That would be big for Newcastle because it means they can rest key players for the remainder of the group stage. Newcastle have also been a tough squad to break down in the Europa League as they have brought their bruising, physical style of the premier league into this competition. They have yet to concede in their first three games, while Brugge have been held scoreless twice. I see a tight fought 1-0 victory for Newcastle here today. Play the under and Newcastle on the PK.

Marseille/Monchengladbach over 2.5 -110, Marseille -125

Still bitter about losing this over last time out where the game ended 2-0, but could just of easily finished 3-2. As a result though, we get a generous vig of only -110 on the game to go over a second time around. Marseille score plenty of goals at home in this competition and the French league. Monchengladbach has a leaky defense that Marseille will be sure to take advantage of. Marseille currently sits in third place so a win for them today is crucial. They should open up and play an exciting attack minded game that will see this one go over comfortably. Lock in the over and Marseille and celebrate a 3-1 victory for the French side.

Sparta Prague/HAPOEL Ironi over 2.5 -120

Hapoel has proven they can score goals at home, notching three against Lyon in matchday two, while Prague has scored seven in three matches thus far. These two teams met last match day where Sparta won 3-1. Expect a similar amount of goals here as Hapoel will be pressing, knowing this is a must win. Hapoel should be able to score a couple while Prague will do the same. I see a 2-2, at worst 2-1 scoreline here.

These are all my plays for today. Good Luck!
