Royal isn't honouring my $1000 freeplay from GA

Royal should tell him to stick that Bonus Play where the sun don't shine - everyone should know by now that any book offering 50% is going under - of course, Shrink should have never let them advertise here as he knows this would be the eventual result - I have played at just about every book out there - there's a reason I never sent GA .10

Only books I ever took 20% bonus from are Gameday, Vip, WWTS, BHB and Royal - for some reason I hade a good vibe about BHB and you know the others might cut you but they won't steal from you.

If your betting 20% bonus it better be from a top notch book - if your getting 20%+++ it better be from Pinnacle, Greek, Bowmans or the Aussie shops.

This industry sucks for the players since it is largely unregulated and the books can do WHATEVER they want. For example, GA says it was an acquisition, Royal says that it was a bail out. Who knows, it doesn't matter since the players have no recourse. They are just lucky that GA didn't run off into the sunset with their money.

I just want to understand why Pokerking is such a bad guy for demanding that Royal give him the Bonus Play that was in his account.

Gamblers Avenue ( powered by Royal Sports as of yesterday ) has never said Pokering is good or bad. Our employees have been dealing with Gamblers Avenue's players questions and claims even before we went live with the website, even before we had received complete data.

It is somehow disheartening to read this thread and the complaint . Royal has bailed out Gamblers Avenue . The agreement has been reached approximately 72 hours ago. We have done our utmost to have the store moved, data transferred and converted, built and went live with a fully functional website . We have informed all players that data concerning pending wagers and Bonus Play is being manually entered as it was provided incomplete to begin with.

If any of you run a business may clearly understand the level of professionalism shown so far. Yet we need a little more time to complete the process.

We do appreciate your patience and cooperation in this respect.

Thanks for your post but I realized that you never expressed an opinion or even a comment that directly addressed Pokerking's post. My posts are directed at the Rx members who think that Pokerking is wrong. As I said, you guys stepped up huge for GA and if you didn't honor GA's Bonus Plays I could understand since it is questionable as to whether or not it would be good for business. The potential downside for not honoring them is bad pr related to that decision and those players leaving after they finish their rollover. Frankly, I would think that the impact of those on your bottom line would be minimal.

Many of us, including myself, are very appreciative of your bailing out frigin GA, a scum site with rip-off 20 cent baseball lines and no money lines, a site that was highly touted by the principals at this site.

I'm upset I gotta roll my bankroll over another 5 times, but that is not your fault and is FAR PREFERRABLE to losing the funds completely as has happened to me after posting up at 'rock-solid' books endorsed by this and other so-called 'watch-dog' sites.

Quit whining - give Royal some time.

Screw the guy's freeplay - he had no funds in GA at the time of the bail-out and has lost nothing.

I lost $4000 at Gamblers Avenue but I still had a $1000 freeplay balance in my account. I contacted Royal as soon as I heard they were taking them over so I could bet my freeplay there if they weren't honouring them. They told me to wait. Yesterday they told me they weren't honouring them and GA is shut down. If they just told me in the first place I would have played it at Gamblers Avenue.

I am surprised because I contacted Royal on Nov.6 while I could still play me freeplay at Gamblers Avenue. Royal told me to wait. If they told me they weren't going to honour I would have bet it that day at Gamblers Avenue
