I'm trying to recall, because it was shortly after she/he joined and had less then 100 posts. Around that time, sometimes posters would ask for my e-mail address and I would post it until I was told not to do that anymore by the mods. I'm not certain but it may have been before the RX converted to this new software. I haven't received many, perhaps a total of 10 over that course of time. They were always pleasant. Boy, do I feel foolish. I tell you this internet forum stuff is way over my head. This was my first forum of any kind and I only belong to one other and have never entered any kind of chat room other then when the old site had one and it was up and running while the forum was down. Wow! Still shocking to me.

I defended It in the RR once maybe about a year ago. It was being bashed and accused of posing as a woman and I replied that I didn't get why anyone would pose as a woman of all things on a gambling board, opening themselves up to all kinds of harrassment. I feel duped, too, Ted.

It's Bitey I feel for most. She seems really nice and trusting and has followed Roxy to this new site. Hopefully she'll now see we're not a female-bashing board after all ...

As I just posted to Xpanda, we communicated perhaps 10 times total since she/he registered. The conversations were very brief normally. From a few sentences to a paragraph and were often about family, health and positive things. Last night's e-mail was simply responding to an old e-mail asking about my health, which I had received a number from different posters. Have to admit, I was fooled here. Definitely thought Roxy was a woman who originally was from Seattle but now resides in San Diego. Guess I am too naive.

the lifespan of a poster depends on whether or not that poster is accepted for thier effort or ripped to shreds right away.its rough going at 1st. no one views you seriously with less than 50 posts and if you can get thru the freshman period of 3 months and 100 posts your here to stay. im in the forums everyday and theres all kinds of new posters coming in but only for a couple days. lurkers see that and are fine lurking.but honestly its hard surviving if your new.ive gained some respect recently after proving myself worthy of being in the forums with better more experienced cappers.but in the beginning i took some brutal shots from posters no longer here.lol. how crazy is that?~RG
