Awesome! Stanley holed a 32 ft putt to save par on 18 (#9). Potter ended up missing his par putt and bogeyed thereafter, but I thought for sure we were about to get screwed after Stanley's tee shot went into the bunker.....

Didn't see all that detail. I was just following a little bit on my phone Stanley was up 2 -3 strokes most of the day so felt fairly comfortable. Westwood was cozy too. This Kirk-Kaymer is a different story, tied right now.

Thanks buddy, looks like I needed it with Webb putting up a dud. Not exactly how I drew up the Haas matchup over Stenson either but I'll take it!

Does you book count the Haas/Stenson matchup as a push I assume? As for Webb, he let me down big time. A buddy and I took him in a fantasy one-and-done league that pays out $10k at the end of the year to the winner. We've been gritting our teeth since yesterday due to his piss-poor effort because we were going to take Phil, Mclroy or Glover and instead went with the bible beater. On Wednesday, I read an article about how Webb's stats off the tee and approach to the green didn't line up well for this course, wish I had taken heed, it was dead on. Then of course, he comes out firing today and is currently -3 on the round...Pfffff....

No, Haas is a W. The way I've always seen it is if players complete the same amount if holes (36), then best score wins. And if not, whoever completes more holes wins. So if a player misses the cut at +3, and another makes the cut but has a bad weekend and finishes at +4, the +4 would still win for having played more holes.

Looking like 0-2 today. I didn't like them much which is why I went smaller but shouldve stayed away completely I guess...

Awesome! Good luck this weekend!! Funny, biggest crap-shoot of the year and both of us go bananas haha! I had no intention of placing that many wagers/large amount. My entire bankroll for the year is pretty much on the line, yikes!! That generally doesn't end well. However, I'll have fun this weekend either way, and if I lose it, just start again next week.

Can't believe NEITHER of us took Rory to win or place top 10. We're opposite on the Els/Stanley play, but I really like the Jacobsen play. I was going to tail you but it's juiced at way too high now, oh well. I also can't believe these low scores this morning - 4,5,6 under?! At sawgrass?? I'd much rather see them struggle and have to work for it. Was a big fan of Olympia US Open last year while most people hated it. You prefer the shootouts?

Ya, The Players is virtually impossible to cap because it doesn't favor any style at all. I just like a little more action for the larger tournaments. I considered Rory but didn't like how he played in contention last weekend and his putting was atrocious. Granted those were the worst greens I've ever seen but didn't bother other players as much. As for Els/Stanley, close call but I'm not sure Stanley is truly ready for the larger tournaments yet. I would also prefer tougher conditions, especially having Tiger, but I'm sure this scoring pace won't continue. Hoping Tiger is around -4 today and post a good number tomorrow morning.

6 of my 7 matchups already over before Saturday. Jim Furyk's push vs Fowler was awful. Furyk probably had the worst putting day of his career. He made 35 feet of putts total! That's rare...
