Round 2 Playoffs...

OK, three game 3's tonight.....

Buff/Ottawa everybody loves the Sens and on them...Why??? JUst because they have to win does not mean they will win...Buffalo still getting no respect here, they have a 2-0 lead and they are dogs in their building...Does everybody think Buffalo will play worse at home???

Carolina/NJ ONce again people love NJ because they have to win...This is not the Devils of years past...Carolina is very good and for real...This line is ridiculous...

SJ/Edmonton Edmonton needs to find some offense and break thru against SJ...At home they should pick it up but I just don't like this line because it was made because they have to win...

I have done well this round so far and don't want to give units back...ALso look good on 2 of the 3 series bets...The value lies in Buffalo, Carolina, and San Jose tonight....

I am not playing anything in the SJ/EDM game as I want to see what happens
in game 3... Buff/Ott I have won the first 2 games and have Buff for the series...Carolina/NJ Yes NJ has to win and they are at home but Carolina is the better team here and at a great price, also have won the first 2 games with Carolina and have them for the series...

I am not playing anything tonight as better choices will present itself later on in these series...

Now that Buffalo, Carolina, and Anaheim are all up 3-0 I will bet those 3 teams for the remaining games of their series until series is over...

People are on Buffalo tonight as the line has moved in their direction today...
Ottawa may lay down tonight if Buffalo can jump on them with the first goal...

Ana/Col Going to be tough to sweep the Avs with all the proud vets. on their team but I will go with the strategy that I have always used when a team is up 3-0...Colorado will not lay down tonight, no chance...

I would lean to the under in Buffalo again tonight as I think 5-6 goals will be scored...In Colorado that total looks right where it should be...

Well Ottawa came out with some balls tonight...They wait until they are down 3-0 to show up with some desperation...Sad team they are...

Let's see how Buffalo responds as they usually come out and jump on teams at home...

Just heard a conversation on the radio involving someone (didn't get his name) who watched tonight's game with Eugene Melnyk (Sens owner) and he said the Senators really wanted to win tonight's game (not that they obviously don't want to win every game) because another home gate (Saturday game in Ottawa) would mean approxiamtely 2 million dollars to the team and that's what they're currently paying Chara.

Well Thursday was a little disapointing with Buffalo going down in a tough game...Ottawa finally came out and seemed to know what playoff intensity was... Will stay the course with Buffalo for game 5, that willl be a tough game, they need to come out very strong or they will be in trouble... Also Hasek may be in net for game 5, reports have said he has looked pretty good practicing so that would be a huge boost to the Sens and may change this whole series... If that happens Buffalo may kick themselves for losing at home game 4...

Look to the under again in game 5 if it is set at 6.5...I have been very good with my totals since the end of the first round...

If the Buff/Ott under is 6.5 would look hard at the under again. Just don't see these teams aloowing the other to score much for the rest of the series...Also Car/NJ may be under as the total is 5 and it seems the book may be trying to bait people into the over. Just don't see this being high scoring ..

In elimination games the under is the better play, you will see very few high scoring elimination games in hockey...

Doubt if I will have a play on the Edmonton/SJ game as I still have Edmonton for the series and the total does nothing for me...

OK guys back for some more hockey...Nice little 2 day break...

For Wed. I have Edmonton +175 for games 6 and 7 because of my series bet +175... I could hedge with SJ but I don't think that is the right side...
So I am not sure if I will press and take Edmonton for game 6 -150 or so...I will look it over and think about it...I will be on the under, yes I know that is a risky bet with how this series has evolved...

The low scoring game sto SJ and the high scoring to Edmonton but it is a elimination game and after what has happened the last 2 games I expect SJ to clamp down some in their own end as they have made mistakes that have ended up in their net, also with the way Toscala has played he is shaky and they need to help him out, I would be completely surprised if Nabakov plays this game as he ahs not seen live game action in a long time...

So, I will be playing the under and if I play a side it will be the Oilers...
Don't know units yet still looking and thinking...

Next is the Buffalo/Carolina series. First this should be a great series with two teams that can skate up and down the rink and two rookie goalies...
Carolina is a small favorite for the series because of home ice...

game 1 Carolina is a -140/-150 favorite and rightfully so...I would expect most everyone to be on Buffalo because of how they have been playing on the road...I have not come up with any plays for this series yet, plenty of time before game 1...I think 6 for a total may be high in game 1...

Will talk more about this series later on in the week....
