Calgary/Chicago Under 5.5 (-125) -- risking 1.25 to win 1:
Having a hard time picking a side, but I think with all the emotion in this series, it will be a tight game with perhaps more fights than goals.

Record: 3-3-1, +0.37 units

Game Picks

Pittsburgh -1.5 (+150) -- risking 1 to win 1.5:
Close out night in a series where the PL has cashed quite often (3/4 games). Pens are making changes to improve, despite the 3-1 lead. Flyers can't stay out of the box, and have no goaltending to make up the dif.

Detroit -1.5 (+140) -- risking 1 to win 1.4: Just a completely one-sided series. I don't buy into the theory that CBJ gives it a go tonight. Even if they do, I don't think they can stop Detroit. Every game thus far has been Detroit by 3 or 4 goals. The only way Detroit lets up is if they need that Game 5 revenue... and I won't buy into conspiracy theories.

PS: I also made a 5 team parlay last night, +49 units! Sorry for not posting it... but I'll count it towards my record :think2:

Carolina +1.5 & Anaheim +1.5 (+105) -- risking 1 to win 1.05:
I like both teams to win, but not enough to lay anything with them strait up. These are two very even matchups where you have the Canes coming off a big win, and the Ducks at home. I do think the Ducks had a bit of a letdown game, and hopefully desperation is setting in, as they are one loss away from losing home ice advantage in the series.

Just like last year, I am only going to tell you once to stay out of my thread. I have avoided putting you in your place all year, and I don't want to be provoked now.

Washington -0.5 (-120) -- risking 1.8 to win 1.5:
They did it last year as an inexperienced club, and this year they look so much better. I really feel the last game was a bad beat of sorts. When you hit two posts square like that, give up two flukey goals, and completely dominate the opposition on the road (outshoot 30-10 in final two periods), you deserve to win. But of course, if Washington won every game they deserved to win, this series would probably be over. A ton of credit has to go to Henrik Lundqvist, the Conn Smythe leader at this point IMO. If the Caps can continue to pour it on, somehow avoid the flukes, and get Henrik to move laterally, they will have a shot. I hope they sit down and just watch game tape from game 4, ironically the only game where I thought a Caps goalie had work to do.

Anaheim +1.5 & Dal. Mavericks ML (+145) -- risking 1 to win 1.45:
I think this Anaheim/San Jose series is a lot different than NYR/Washington, in that the Sharks have not dominated their series like the Caps have. In fact, the Sharks have looked like a scared, young #8 seed. Even when losing, the Ducks have battled for every second of this series, and I don't see why they would lay down tonight. They are a better team on the road, and at worst, I expect them to keep this close the whole way.

What a beautiful day!

My picks for today are as follows:

Flyers (-130)- Home game, and they won the last on the road. They were demonstrative last game and want to take this series to game 7, should be a close game.

Chicago (-155) Their going to win, straight up.

San Jose (-200)- They lost 2 of their home games already, they won't let that happen again. This will be like the Red Wings last year, started off slow but come out with the win.

YTD- 8-0-0

My picks for today are:

Washington (-140)- This team looked great last game, Ovechkin was on the puck like white on rice. Not only that but Avery has been bringing the Rangers down recently. This game should be close though.

Carolina (-135)- The Devils won a defensive battle last game and the canes want payback.

YTD: 10-1-0
