I'VE probably only played the game twice in my life and it was just on red or black or on a number,i have no clue how to play it for real with all those colored chips and playing in the corners of four numbers so i usually avoid it at all cost,...i would like to know the best way to play it,but would not want to ask at the table as id feel embarrased about it

He is saying to bet 2 of the 3 3rds (1-12) / (13-24), and then you have 2/3rds of the board in play. Double your bets in a chase style martigale and then reset when won.

It could be a big loser or big winner quick but there isn't much happy medium. If your two thirds go on a roll though you will be printing money quickly.

I've heard of this strategy a couple times

Roulette has over a 5% house edge and it is a centuries old house money maker. If there were not times you could have a nice night and walk away ahead, no one would ever play casino games. Also, betting systems do not work.

I cut the wheel in three sections and play one section and 2-4 numbers on the other side of wheel. I have about 15-18 numbers covered. It's worked well for me but can tell you once the dealers catch on, they will either switch the ball or spin the wheel faster. Dealers can make that ball land pretty close what section to land on.

I just have numbers that I like. 7/8/33/19/16 and then I have 0/00 and then I have 17/32/20 and those 3 are all right next to me. Almost all of my hits last night were 17/32/20 - just missed hitting with 20 on a number when it landed on 32 and I had 20 on both 17 and 20. The most satisfying is when the 0s hit though. I think I just like the green

Had you actually gone back I'd say maybe, the fact you walked away shows you have will power.

I think I had lost my last 4 times @ roulette and 2 of 4 I was up a 200-300 bucks but gave it all away and lost a few hundred. I have will power to walk away....but it does just rattle in my brain all day

I guess I am the only one who thought that was creepy

If you total EVERY number on the board, it equals 666. I love Roulette too,,

heres a fun system,

its progressive so you will Lose for sure,,, but its fun, and you can win for hours and hours,,

bet on the thirds,,,

bet the third that just came up, and the third that HASENT come up (the 3rd in line) so in this construct you are betting repeaters, and "should come"

bet 1-1 then 4-4 then 13-13 then 42-42 (I put all profits to the side,,, for when the loss comes)

Ive lost with this too, but ive won a ton too,,

If you bet $20 on 1/3 and $20 on 2/3 - you have Risked $40. If you hit, you keep the $20 you bet and they pay you 2-1 so $40. So you now have 60 after initial bet of $40

Ah yes, ok, thnx for explaining

yes when you bet Roulette,, ALL PROGRESSIVE systems will fail, however in the system I mentioned,,, you are working 2 theories the repeater theory, which is a number that has been hit will repeat itself,,

and the Its due theory,,, a set of 12 numbers can only sleep so long,,

Ive sat at roulette tables for 5-6 hours with this system,,, and Ive also lost in 30 mins, lol

fair warning,,, in order to overcome the limits on most tables you will need to also bet the streets the corners and the single number!

for those of you that know what I am talking about you are probably smiling or laughing,,, for those of you that dont know,, download a computer simulation,, lol you will figure it out,,

I was at the Mandalay Bay in 2002 during the week day, & was talking to the guy spinning the wheel......just 2 people were at his table.

I looked up at the board, & it showed every number that came out was black. I asked the other person, & then the dealer how long has it been since red came up, they said over 2 hours........I wasn't even playing, just watching, & people would walk by & say, wow, all black, red has to come up, several people keep putting $100 chips on red, & it kept coming up black.......man I wish I would have gotten in on this streak just half way thru, I've never seen a streak like that before on roulette.

Of course you think when you do bet black, it will lose........I didn't bet anything, but just watched in awe how people were betting the due factor & kept losing.......even this the dealer kept saying that black is very hot, & to never bet against a streak.

Roulette is a crazy game.......I had a friend win $18,000 at Caesars in AC years back, he was playing $25 & $50 a number, guy couldn't lose. Had another friend lose $10,000 in 2 days at AC.......very tough game to beat in the long run.

Only time I've ever made money at roulette is within the first 1-2 hours.......if I don't make money in those first couple hours, I'm not going to........its not like poker where you could get cold cards most of the night & then catch a heater, at least for me, that's my experience.

Went to the casino last night with a friend and he took $60 and turned it into $850 and I turned $120 into $1,000 just betting nickels on the roulette table. After getting to like 1,100, I missed all my numbers and had 1K and cashed out. We are walking out of the casino and pass the table we played at and 3 of my numbers hit back to back to back right after we left. Now all I can think about is what if I had kept playing. Does that mean I have some sort of addiction? I probably cost myself another $750 minimum by leaving when I did.

That's so brutal when you see your numbers after you already leave

2 years ago my wife and I CLEANED UP in Vegas playing roulette. Every single time we sat down we instantly started winning. It was a work trip so the travel and hotel was free making it even better.

Since then, another vegas trip, french lick, aruba; I've lost every single time I've played. I don't think I've hit a single number in 2 years. In the long run the odds hold true.

Just took my first trip to MGM that just opened in MD. Hit on my 2nd spin with $20 on 17 for 700. Took a 500 chip and then left the 200 in nickels and pressed everything. Landed right next to the 5/17/32/20 which I play but missed so I just left. Walked by on my way out and the next two spins were 17/17. If I would have been a little more patient I would have won about 2K betting on it.

Side note - some other guy gets to the table, just bets 50 on black and 15 on 17 with some nickels on the corners and hits. Tells us he did the same thing yesterday because his grandma just died and her number was 17. Dude won 900 the day before and like 600 or so today. Pretty sick

It is much preferable to play in the bookmakers than in roulette as it makes at least think.

I've only seen 1 guy be able to hit a ZONE... 4 times out of 10 he hit it.. we asked permission from the pit, it was 6am... NO ONE was around, and I was betting thirds.. so my bets weren't affecting anything.. sooooooo lol. The pit said, go ahead, let's see if u can... u got 10 tries... so the pit called 00 and next 10 spaces as the ZONE... the croup spun 3 times to get his timeing.. and missed the first three times... then he hit it twice... missed, then hit it. Then missed then hit it.. lol then missed..

The rule at this casino is you cannot look at wheel Apon release..

Could of been dumb luck.. but the kid ONCE he dialed in ball and speed of wheel hit the zone..

I have only seen this ONCE IN 15 YEAR of playing roulette.. I've got other guys to try it... no one's ever been as good as this guy was..

I don't play that often as it is definitely -EV. But its fun and I have had some awesome sessions winning some decent cash.

I box the zeros. Meaning I bet 1 unit 0 and 00. Then I put a unit on the two numbers on each side of the zeros. That is 1,2,9,10,13,14,27,28. I then split a unit each between the 25/26 and the 35/36. So Im betting green and the 3 numbers on each side of the green. If I get on a roll, then I'll start bumping up my units to 2 or 3 on each number.

If I spot a wheel that has been hitting near the green, then I'll stop and play if I'm in the mood. Its amazing sometimes how the ball will fall in those same pockets around the green over and over sometimes. I know its basically luck. But its strange luck.

Plus betting this way makes it more fun when you are watching the ball go around and drop. You are cheering for it to hit the green or near the green. Fun times.
I do the same with the three numbers on either side of 3 and 33....14 numbers in all so it's a good bit if the board. Hit 14 numbers in a row last time at MGM. Had several hand pays...

I used to think lik that, but your 17's likely would not have hit if you stayed. You leaving the table probably changed when the dealer dropped the ball...if even for a fraction of a second.

I like this. I play the green and the first few numbers under them (1,2,3) Most play their lucky numbers so playing the top feels like being with the house. I have had the green come up 5 out of seven times and the dealer asked me what I planned to do. I told her cash me out !
