Alloa is coming off a 3-1 loss at Dumbarton. That put an end to their streak of nine straight games without a loss. Alloa is sitting in first place with a slim three point lead over second place Cowdenbeath. Alloa trails Cowdenbeath in goal differential by seven goals so if they ever get tied Alloa would drop to second. Alloa was not shutout in any of their last ten league games and they scored two goals in seven of the ten games. Stirling Albion is sitting in fourth place just two points behind third place Brechin and four points behind Cowdenbeath. Albion has suffered only one loss out of their last nine league games. They were shutout in only one of their last nine games and they scored two or more goals in three of their last four home games. Albion has struggled on the defensive end with no clean sheets out of their last ten games. They will go up against an Alloa defense that has only one clean sheet out of their last six games. I have no doubt we will see 3+ goals in this game.

Monaco is sitting in seventh place and is eight points out of a European Cup spot. Like Bordeaux, Monaco has won only one of their last five games. Monaco was not shutout in any of their last five home games. They conceded two or more goals in four of their last six league games. Both teams have alot to play for and a draw helps no one.

Sociedad is playing for first place while Salamanca will try to avoid getting closer to the relegation zone. I expect we will see a few goals scored in this game.

Wigan beat Burnley 3-1 earlier this season and both teams will be desperate for points Saturday. I expect both teams to score and a draw really helps no one.

Vale has the third best goal differential in the league which could help them as they push for a playoff spot. I doubt this will be a defensive battle as Cheltenham avoids relegation and Port Vale goes for a playoff spot.

Toulouse did not keep a clean sheet in any of their last five away games. Rennes needs to win this game to keep their chances alive at a cup spot. Toulouse will look to play the role of spoiler and the fact that they beat Rennes 3-2 earlier this season.
