A few questions.
1. The 1m tournament did it come close to meeting the guarantee or was it far short? Reason I ask is that I have seen these smaller networks offer tournaments like this and since there is no way they are going to meet the guarantee, like magic the software has a hiccup.
2. How did you deposit the $500? Credit Card, WU, MG or another method?
One thing about 5Dimes whether you like them or not (general statement to all) is that they are pretty consistent on following their rules. Very very few exceptions are made if any. Tony isn't much of a people person at all but has kept the book in good standing and offers a ton more than other sites combined.
I can't fault him for this.
I look at it like this. You make a deposit for $550. You bet $550 to win $500 on Wisconsin to beat UNLV. Wisconsin is killing them than with 10 minutes left in the game the power goes out in the stadium and the game is declared over due to not being able to get the power back on. The books use the rule it didn't go 55 minutes so there is no action on the bet. Your rollover isn't met because the game has no action, no result.
The same thing happened in the tournament, you deposited, entered and then the software messed up, thus the tournament became no action, no result.
It's not 5 Dimes fault, it's not their software, it's the network that provides the software and the support for keeping it running. 5 Dimes is just a redirect and using shared software.
While I understand the frustration, their call is the right one.
