Was a little disappointed Bushay didn't draft Horvat off the Canucks but other than that it was fun..
Horvat couldn't make the cut. He was on my mind though. With only 10 teams, it difficult drafting someone on word alone. Sorry Pierre.
Did anyone draft him?

From the top

+340 ....Adam....This guy knows his players. was impressed LY. Am impressed again TY

+600...Shillington.....Lot of good looking talent on this team. Nice job drafting.

+625...PK.....[arties friend?]...this is a team loaded with quality studs. old team though. Better hope they worked out in the off season.

+710...Bushay..This was a good draft for me. But I say that every year.

+930...Vic...Real top heavy team, top 8-9 are as good as anyones.

+1400...Sherwood...Strong up the middle but I thought you drafted better last year.

+1810...Artie.....Draft score....B......Arties good around the waiver wire. He will be right in it again.

+3200....Feddz...I see some weakness in this one. Hope it dont come back to bite me.

+7000...Marni...forwards look good. the rest looks a little weak.

+10,000...Barman [Yearround fans] Dont matter. you'll be pressed for a sweet 16 spot.

So I just got home and ran everyone team through my projected stats. It also assigns each player a value which takes into consideration for each players stats (WIN, SV%, GAA, G,A,+/-,PIM,SOG,PPP) higher the number the more valuable the player. After tallying up everyone teams these are the results with total stats for the season. Keep in mind this projection doesn't take into any consideration on lineups, just your team as a whole as if each player played in every game. Goalies are ranked by projected starts and wins, sv%, GAA. With that being said backup goalies really effect the total number especially on Vic's team with their being a possibility of having 3 backup goalies

"With that being said backup goalies really effect the total number especially on Vic's team with their being a possibility of having 3 backup goalies."

My thinking is I’d rather have three backups on two teams that will combine for over 200 points than a stud goaltender on a team that finishes with 60.

I never have taken much stock in drafting goalies in a fantasy league that favors a 6:4 ratio to skaters. Especially in a ten team league where there will be numerous surprises in net to be picked up on waivers during the course of the year.

Offense is the way to go with Pucks R Us.

FIRST WEEK preview:

"The Aces are a great team...well coached. They skate really well, shoot the puck well and play great defense. We will have our hands full. Would be great to snag three to four points being as we are on the road"

omg. I play Bman week 1!?

At least give me some trash talk to hang on the locker room wall. "Great team...well coached." How the hell do I rally the troops with that shit?

Anyone else having trouble setting a lineup or navigating this new Yahoo website? Sucks

I cant figure out how to put someone in a lineup from the bench.

That being said....A lot of hockey sites it seems upgraded their web site and coverage this year. I dont like it. I want the old versions back. All of them.

It's a ESPN site and as far as I can tell hasn't changed since last year.

Do we have IR slots this year?

So sorry Marni. I just tried to add 2 IR slots but it won't let me. The roster settings are locked after the draft. My bad on this. We have to make due.

No worries--we're all in the same boat (or will be)!
