Best place away from the Strip is the LV Hilton; lots of seats and good video poker. You will need to show up early to get a seat though.

Yes I agree with you and Illini and I have watched the games there a few times. They have 9/6 Jacks or better right by the Sportsbooks and you can play this in nickels, quarters or Dollars all at the 9/6 pay schedule. Counting cashbacks and comps, it gets you to 100% payback. However, I like to visit with my Portland friends also during March madness and they stay at Bally's so I will not be going to Hilton as it sits all by itself off the strip a ways.

Ok everyone with the legendary Stardust coming down at the end of the year
there is only one place to watch the tourney. Its not a bad book to hang and watch the games either.

I like the 4 corners area a lot better. Stardust doesn't do it for me but if you like old... That's the place. :toast:

Jeff, I rented a small car for the week, so anyplace is ok.

I know my way around Vegas, so getting around wont be a problem.

Whatever you local guys recommend is fine.

Wanted to hang this thread and see what RX posters are going to be in town.

Met many of the Vegas locals at the bash.

I for one wouldnt be able to think straight if i went to Vegas for the first round of the NCAA tournament. To many games, to many choices, to much stuff to do in Vegas. Just would be to out of control. It's not like the Super Bowl where you're on just one game.

I just returned from the dentist and I haven't heard from any of the Mods yet. I think it would be a great idea if We set a time to meet at IP and then at least We can exchange cell phone numbers and set up a meeting for some evening gambling, clubs or whatever. At any rate there are a number of us that reside here and can meet almost anytime and place after work hours of course. I always take Thursday, Fridays off and always off on weekends anyway. Looking forward to getting together but during the games will be watching at the 4 corners area or Ip area like mirage Book
