RIP John Lewis

Lewis was a lying, divisive, hatefilled race baiter.

He falsely accused the Tea Party of shouting the “N-word” during a protest against Obamacare in March 2020. He also frequently referred to Republican presidential candidates as racist. Once, he falsely accused Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) of not participating in the civil rights movement. (Sanders was, in fact, arrested during a civil rights protest in Chicago.) Lewis also falsely accused President Trump of supporting white supremacists, saying that he cried when Trump said there were “good people on both sides” of protests in Charlottesville, Virginia. (Trump actually condemned the white supremacists “totally.”)



That is how he made his living.
Maybe at one time he had good intentions but power and hate can consume you as you become the person you once opposed.

Do you understand the irony in making this claim while pulling an article from Breitbart?

John Lewis was a hero. He showed more courage than most ever will and he stood up for what he believed in. What has happened to this site that people are demeaning this man?

He also tried to accuse someone of spitting on him and that didnt happen either.

Unfortunately due to the expanding trump virus, Lewis will quite likely not be laid in state within the U.S. Capitol rotunda, nor will his funeral - in whatever form it takes - be able to demonstrate his passing would draw 5x the attendees of Pres Tiny's eventual funeral

Of course, Tiny likely at least 50% shot he is laid to rest in the back 40 of a Potter's Field outside Moscow, but hey.....

Much more likely he dies in a prison cell or in a gold-plated double wide trailer home somewhere in southeast Florida...Once he leaves office his few remaining dollars will be burnt on criminal defense lawyers and his remaining interests in T-branded properties will be seized by creditors and/or the government. Putin will have no more use for him so sorry, no burial in Russia

I am hyper critical of media that is truth adverse. Breitbart writes with such a slant that it obfuscates the truth. Take the article that was quoted earlier.

Lewis and three other people said it happened, Breitbart said it didn't happen ostensibly because it wasn't on tape. Additionally, this incident happened in 2010 not 2020. Once, he falsely accused Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) of not participating in the civil rights movement. - This is inaccurate. John Lewis' quote was "I never saw him. I never met him", in regards to Bernie Sanders and his involvement in the civil rights movement of the 1960s. Since Lewis was such a prominent figure during that time, it was a jab at how much Bernie was involved, but it was not an abject denial of any involvement.

Lewis also falsely accused President Trump of supporting white supremacists, saying that he cried when Trump said there were “good people on both sides” of protests in Charlottesville, Virginia. (Trump actually condemned the white supremacists “totally.") - There's lots to unpack here. However, what is most interesting is that if you click on the first hyperlink this is the quote they are using to justify that claim:

When he reacted to what was happening in Charlottesville, you know, “Good people on both sides,” I cried. It’s not the America that I dream for, the one I was trying to help set right. That's a pretty big leap.

Are you starting to see the issue with Breitbart? This isn't just a one time thing either, they do this constantly. Breitbart is a mess of a site. Even Ben Shapiro highlighted how bad it is back in 2016 saying:

“Andrew Breitbart despised racism. Truly despised it,” former Breitbart editor-at-large Ben Shapiro wrote last week on the Daily Wire, a conservative website. “With Bannon embracing Trump, all that changed. Now Breitbart has become the alt-right go-to website, with [technology editor Milo] Yiannopoulos pushing white ethno-nationalism as a legitimate response to political correctness, and the comment section turning into a cesspool for white supremacist mememakers.”

Breitbart is less accurate than Wikipedia, and that's saying something.
