Levski have huge problems with injuries ravaging their attack. They have 3 injured strikers, and one striker coming back off injury who'll be left on the bench. Even better news for Werder is that Levski will be playing with their second-choice goalkeeper, who is 18 years old.

I wrote this in the Champs League thread:

The under was a banker in this game 2 weeks ago. Liverpool away play with great efficiency and reliance on defensive solidity.Everyone recognises however that Liverpool have defensive frailties this season. They seem to be scoring a lot at home. They beat Galatasaray 3-2. They defeated Aston Villa 3-1. They beat Reading 4-3 in the Carling Cup (albeit a different team). Bordeaux are conceding quite a few goals in the French league, whilst also scoring.

These are two teams who in previous seasons were known for their defensive strengths. Last season, Bordeaux had a great record of only 25 goals conceded in 38 league games. Their problem was scoring; they only scored 15 goals. This season: they've already conceded 15 in 11 games, and scored the same amount.

Liverpool are conceding a few goals at the moment. 2 against Galatasaray, alot of goals away in the Premier League, and they just don't have that same defensive confidence as last season. At home, they tend to play more open football, and particularly with the fans cheering them on I feel they'll try to come out flying in this match. They don't need to set their stall out to defend against a team like Bordeaux. Bordeaux HAVE to attack to salvage any chance of qualifying. So, the odds of 2.35 look like good value to me.

Good day. The big bets came through. I'm very disappointed Roma didn't win, and cost me a parlay that could have netted an extra 5 units. But that happens.

Luton vs. Burnley was the kind of game that could have gone either over/under. Burnley are excellent on the road, particularly defensively, and especially against a depleted Luton squad. So, no problems with that.

Hopefully, this decent run can keep going. Tough set of fixtures in the Champs League tomorrow. Will most likely skip it, and hope parlay wins. I'll be capping some stuff for the weekend.

Man Utd lost the parlay. I saw the first five minutes, and the team they line up with wasn't good enough. No desire. They didn't come to win.

I feel very bad for backers of Arsenal. Watched the match, and there was just no luck for a bettor.
