How far does the Line have to move to qualify - $5 $10 $15 or more?

I have noticed in MLB and NHL books Generally open Favs ML High and then drop them down.

Just one man's recommendation, but personally, I wouldn't wager on games based on "reverse line movement". For one, the data you are getting (%s) are probably pretty unreliable and secondly, I don't believe there is any such thing as "reverse line movement".

Hi Tim. You say the %'s are "probably" unreliable, but you don't know for sure. I'm not saying that they are, but the plays seem to be winning at about a 60% rate for the past year. They went 3-1 in College Hoops yesterday. I'm not trying to persuade anyone, just giving data that I have collected. Happy Holidays and Good Luck. :toast:

Glc in bases how many cents would a line on fav/dog have to move before you make a play.Do you find more plays on dogs or favs also do you set a limit on favs at say -170 or is it still a play at any price as long as there was a move.BOL

Hey Joe,
I use a 10cent line move in Bases and Hockey. I would say 9 of out 10 plays are dogs, with the other being a small favorite. I don't recall a move on a favorite of more than 150. But if it fit the system I would still make it a play. Good Luck. <><>

So i just want a clarification. Lets say the blackhawks are playing the hurricanes and the line opens with the hurricanes at +180. Then the line moves so that the hurricanes are at +170 even though 75% of the public is on the hawks. So you would bet on the hurricanes?
