It takes roughly a week to get rid of 70% of the THC in your system. It will take another 3-4 weeks to get rid of the last 30% from your body. The reason it takes so long is because it's a fat soluable drug. It stores in your fat cells. Alcohol is a water soluable drug and will usually leave your body in 2-3 days.

So if you have a low percentage of fat (like almost 0), does that mean it would leave your system quicker??

Wouldn't that make every cig smoker show up as positive for marijuana?

I don't know where you got that from, but that's a bunch of crap. Marijuana unequivically has distinctive chemicals that can be tested for.

actually I have worked in the insurance industry for 13 years and have personally ordered hundreds of various different drug tests.

Mj shows up like cigarettes. Other drugs have a distinct chemical trace and can be read quite easily.

If a non smoker applies for life insurance and is found to have excess levels of tar in their test then they are deemed a decline by the anti mj companies.

However pro mj companies will accept the risk but only under smokers rates.

Every test includes a question on smoking. There is a reason why they want to know how many cigarettes you smoke a day.

Perhaps my information is wrong. Perhaps a test has been developed to specifically find THC but I am doubtful of that.

I think it is still all done on smoking/nonsmoking status and amount of admitted tobbacco usage.

Excess levels are deemed to be MJ usage.

Anyway if you want to go into the test with some kind of rediculous Pee bag strapped on you then "good luck" with that.

Whatever type of drug test you are talking about, it is not the same type of test that a potential employer is going to do. They can definatly find THC.

Last time I failed one the nurse explained to me in detail what they test for and how its detected.THC is the active ingredient tested in a multipanel test for MJ

Well, I got a whizzinator. They pushed back the test to today so I ordered it Tuesday on a next-day delivery. It got here yesterday morning and man is this thing sweet. It looks kinda bulky in the website pictures, but this thing is undetectable under your clothes. I strapped it on right before my fiance got home from work yesterday and walked around the house with it for a half hour and she didn't notice anything at all. She was shocked when I told her I was wearing it.
I then proceeded to ask her to watch me take a piss (keep in mind she knows about the Whizzinator and the test). She watched me from a couple feet away and could not tell it was the fake dick and not my real one (I used regular water)! This thing looks just like a real dick, is easy to use, and undetectable.
That said (I hope I'm not jinxing myself), I'm about to fill 'er up with my clean buddies piss and head out for the test. Got the heating pad going and it will stay at 99 degrees for up to 8 hours!

I passed!

They used a home-testing type kit. Noone even went in the bathroom with me, so it was no problem! I had to wait about 10 min after the test for them to wait on the results, and I was comfotable as could be standing around with my strap-on on; noone noticed shit. Piss read a perfect 99 degrees right before I went in, using the included heating pad. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to pass a drug test without quitting.
