Dallas is such a bad franchise be it NBA or NFL.. you're mounting a HUGE come back and your start chucking up 3's when they were over the foul limit at about the 7 min mark of the 4th? Lets not even get into why they were down by 20+ to begin with to a team like OKC despite them being without their top 2 scorers. Can you say heart? Because Dallas has zero.........

Learned my lesson on Dallas earlier this year when they laid a dud in Detroit.
Sure they're talented, but outside of Howard and Nowitzki they're a rather weak team.
Kidd is a solid starting point guard at this point in his career, but isn't the guy to lead them over the top.

When the Celtics played them on that Sunday at the Garden, it was blatantly obvious to me why this team struggles so mightily. They have zero depth and only two (maybe three) legit options to score the basketball.
What happened last night? Howard left the game and they couldn't score the basketball in the third...
I pretty much avoid betting Dallas on the road altogether now.

I've actually had good success with the Mavs. Just gotta know when to pick your spots. Ppl point it out all the time on the forum, the first game without the stars is usually very good for that team as they pick it up and play really hard. That's exactly what happened last night. Plus Dallas was on second of B2B, which I believe has been terrible for them ATS this year.
It's obvious to me why they have never won anything. They are a soft jump shooting team. They have zero inside game. If there jumpers are not falling, then you are screwed. I just thought yesterday that OKC had a D league lineup out there and dallas is fighting for a playoff spot. Back to back or not you gotta win that game if your the mavs. A gutless performance and it showed a lot about the character of that team. I don't care what spot they are in, I will put my money on a team that has a lot more fight in them then the stank mavs.
