A real blast from the past. I sincerely hope that you and yours are well UB..

Great to see you post here at The Rx.com again, especially in this thread because I really do believe you are among the group that understand what is really going on regarding the rumors being spread around the net about Skybook..

Please don't be a stranger going forward...

Best of luck this football season, wil...:toast:

Thanks Wil, good to hear from you again as well.

I actually wasn't aware of the Skybook rumour fiasco till i read your post above, but, now do i know what it is in reference to...And yeah, pretty easy to see whats really going on with that one..lol

Oh well, Skybook has been around the block quite a few times....I can't imagine that little smear attempt will make a dent, but, still sucks to see it happening.....

I personally have no concerns with Skybook whatsoever...Wish i could say the same about a few other shops being touted at some of the other forums these days....

I'm guessing thats a big part of that smear campaign though actually....Try scaring potential post-ups away from a solid shop like Skybook, in hopes that a few of those will unwittingly post-up with
one of the advertising fly-by-nights instead.

Hope all is well with you and your family as well, Wil...

This ken ass hole is the only reason I don't post over there.

Mo did me a solid and feel like I should but just can't get by the administrator there.

I told Mo on the phone about how J-stiff posted my first and last name my bank account and so forth and how TTinco told me about it and Terry e-mailed shrink about it and nothing.

I copied and pasted our im transcripts and e-mailed him also and no response.

Scum bag.

no respect for Shrink, here.

think about it.... he stole the RX email database to jumpstart his site.

RX has promoted bad books, EOG does do....just the nature of this dirty business.

Trust your fellow posters, not website owners, IMO.

They are currently doing bankwires to americans?

My recent experience with them was fustrating though.

I used to run huge balances with them, and they paid large amounts, quickly.

But my most recent cashout, they weren't able to pay me via neteller, they no longer do sportsbook transfers with any other books, and the only option for my 10K cashout was bank wire.

I wasn't that worried about not getting paid, and the customer service was excellent, but it did take over 6 weeks for the 10K to be paid to me.

I will see what I can find out...

Will sportsbook transfers with the greek be restored soon?/QUOTE]

Possible but unlikely as book to book transfers become less and less popular with books such as The Greek. Players using the process only as a means to take advantage of the faster and in many cases less expensive withdrawal options that the larger and well withdrawal optioned A+ top tier books offer.

Thus you see various rollovers grow in conjunction to book to book transterred funds. The rollover is one of the few ways the receipient book of these transfers have at retaining a small hold percentage on funds that pass thru their banking systems.

Moving money despite what many not so experienced players think actually cost money. Not to metion other inherent difficulties that transfering large some of cash from place to place create.

I don't think that many books have totally stopped the problem is the cost of book to book transfers has escalated by a substantial amount in the last year or so.

Right now all that The Greek has on their banking page is the following:

Sportsbook transfers are accepted on a limited basis from certain establishments. Minimum transfer amount is $500 USD. You may be required to wait until funds have cleared from the sending establishment before the money is available in your account.

Thanks, wil.

There isn't? I thought there was or at least used to be?

We did offer a guarantee on BetOnSports and paid it off long ago.

There never has been a need for any kind of guarantee at Skybook. No single Rx sponsor book has come close to giving the away the gifts and bonuses Skybook has given away on this Forum over the years to Rxers in our history.

They aren't giving it for the WNBA game or preseason NBA tonight.

I received an email from Skybook recently saying that they would offer some -104 lines. Would these be in addition to the free half point for football and Friday basketball?

They never have offered free half points to WNBA or Preseason NBA wagers. The NBA season starts Tuesday October 27th and College Hoops in November.

billpapa, I highly doubt you will be offered -104 juice and a free half point on the same wager, most likely separate promotions (if they even offer the Friday Free Half Point at all in hoops this year) but again when the time comes I will be happy to find out and post the answer here.

Thanks, wilheim

That is incorrect. They gave free half on wnba earlier in the season at the old site on Fridays.
