Most of these guys just use the cool buzzwords of the day but Pop actually tries to elaborate on stuff sometimes and he just sounds like an idiot. His account of the Michael Brown situation was pure fiction and didn't jibe with the DOJ investigation at all. He was basically making stuff up, almost as if he had it confused with another case. Saw this a week ago because it was the 6yr anniversary and he brought it up in presser.
For someone as experienced as Thom it is mind boggling that he would say that over any mic. You never know who is in the production truck. It could be some guy delivering beverages. He hears it and files a complaint. You basically threw away two jobs that he was probably earning in the $700,000+ a year range. Remember he was #3 team at Fox NFL. I don't know what he was paid it could have been much more. He had a lot of seniority. He was only in his mid-fifties so this misstep probably cost him millions of dollars
