80/1 at Bookmaker presently

Thing I love about those kinds of bets if they even in shouting distance on Sunday makes for some real excitement .
Winning Sergio a few years ago at 66-1 is about the most fun I’ve ever had betting

Yea agree.. Think the best odds I have had with majors recently was both Thomas and Koepka at 40/1. I had Koepka top 5 , 10 , 20 and top US player with his 1st major. Probably my best tournament betting I can remember

I have $50 on Doc Redman +2800 in the Bermuda Championship. Will be glued to the coverage tomorrow.
Would I otherwise be interested in the Bermuda Championship? Nah, not enough to watch it over NFL.

100x more excitement than I will get out of any NFL wager and I'm only out $50 if it loses.

Yeah hard to beat the excitement of winning 4 figures on a 50$ bet

My long shot is Cameron Champ

am a fan. INCREDIBLE golf swing, like his demeanor , and how he handles himself. Didnt think this early in his career he'd contend at a major, didnt think he had the short game -was wrong, he DID at Harding Park this yr, 1 shot off the pace great look #7 from seven feet for birdie and missed- would have tied for the lead . The double at 9 pretty much killed him. Tied for 10th, pretty damn good

Augusta isnt kind to 1st time players, in the modern era only 1 player won on his first visit- Fuzzy Zoeller. Like Fuzzy, Cameron hits a draw-- the preferred ball flight for Augusta. 11 of the 18 holes require a right-to-left shot. Some non-household names that won Augusta that draw it all day-fuckin- long include - Z Johnson, A Cabrera-- must have been huge odds on those two. .............of course, its just one factor. With that said in looking for a super long-shot, would prefer for him to be ; a long hitter and draws the ball. Champ ticks both those boxes

but at Augusta ya gotta have the short game. YA GOTTA PUTT those SLICK greens--- Champ SG putting ytd? 242nd ugh, .......Champ needs to maul the par 5's , play em -3 each day . 13th is made for him!! draw around the corner and he has 9 iron comin in, tops. 13, 15 he could/should have eagle looks.

The unthinkable feat Jack Nicklaus believes Bryson DeChambeau could pull off at the 2020 Masters

Yes, Jack Nicklaus, a man not prone to hyperbole, said that DeChambeau, age 27 and the reigning U.S. Open champion who recently said that he flew a ball 400-plus yards in a practice session, could drive the uphill 455-yard par-4 1st hole at Augusta.
Here, slightly edited, is how that comment came about.
I said, “Jack, we’ve talked about what the conditions might be like in November and you said it can often play dry and fast. What kind of clubs could you imagine him hitting into the four par-5s if he hits good tee shots?”
And Jack said, “Well, let’s start off what he could do. He could drive the 1st green. If it’s firm, he could drive the 1st green. Under the right conditions.”

Here are some of the other things Nicklaus said about DeChambeau, winner of Jack’s 2018 Memorial Tournament. (Nicklaus Companies, as you may know, is an affiliate of GOLF.com’s parent company, 8AM Golf.)
“I haven’t seen him in person hit a golf ball except on television at the U.S. Open, and of course at the Memorial tournament,” Nicklaus said. “He hit in some places I couldn’t believe. He was 27 yards from the 1st green at the Memorial tournament. I mean — come on. That hole is 470, something like that. If he could do that, he can drive the 1st green.
“And at 15 at Augusta, he’s got a wide fairway because he’ll hit it past the trees on the left. He’ll need a little pitching wedge into the 15th.”
There are four par-5s at Augusta National: the 2nd, the 8th, the 13th and the 15th. The 15th is 530 yards, with a pond in front of the green and more water over it. Tiger Woods made a two-putt birdie 4 there last year while Francisco Molinari, playing with Woods and still tied for the lead when they came to 15, made a 7. That was the ball game, pretty much.

“What he has done is amazing,” Nicklaus said of DeChambeau. “He’s figured out that distance is far more important than accuracy. Even at a U.S. Open. And he took a chance by doing what he did to build himself to a level to be able to do that. I give the guy great kudos.
“You develop skills that give you an advantage and that’s what he’s figured out. And a lot of people will follow suit.”

THE MASTERS 2020 - WINNER
[43063] MATTHEW WOLFF +12500

THE MASTERS 2020 - WINNER
[43014] BRYSON DECHAMBEAU +2800

:smoking:
great catch on bryson. i bet 4 in the winter/spring but only one, scheffler, has wildly different odds. I gained big on scheffler (150/1 vs 40/1), small gain on Cantlay (40/1 vs 28/1), lost on Ancer (80/1 vs 125/1) and either pushed or lost on Bezuidenhout (200/1 vs up to 250/1).

saw a few guys on twitter that are holding 40-50/1 on Bryson from betting him around this time last year. another holding a 2500/1 on Munoz who is now 150/1
