Colorado St -5.5
Pivotal game for CSU....this team is for real and so is Jim McElwain. This will be by far the most balanced attack USU has seen all season. CSU is 20th in Total Offense. If you look at what USU has done to this point they have thrived off turnovers. CSU despite having great numbers has struggled with them as well; if they can hold onto the ball, they should win this game at home and having lost to USU the last two years....a little revenge is in order. USU is statistically horrible on Offense. Last week, 4 quick turnovers put Air Force in the hole, the week before, BYU turned the ball over numerous times as well, and also fell apart not having a QB ready when Hill went down. CSU looks bad on Defense, but they have played statistically 5 decent Offenses; Boston College, Boise, Colorado, Nevada, and Tulsa are all ranked higher than USU, who is 84th in Total Offense. Arkansas State is the lone team that USU has played in the Top 50 on Offense, 35th. CSU is 20th. Players believe in this system so Revenge, Home, and Offense are the key factors here, providing that CSU does not turn the ball over.
