Swami- you said it as well...

When I use to go to many games a year back in the old Memorial Stadium days, and the Sox would come to town, 5-7 thousand extra seats would fill the place with these Red Sox fans,lol...and I cannot knock their enthusiasm, but the one thing that really use to get to me, was when away fans come to your ballpark and flaunt theirselves, and as you know Yanks fans are no different,lol...but atleast the Yanks fans have a place to hang their hats!!!

I remember once back in 1989 the O's were playing Boston in late August it was a doubleheader, we dropped game 1 on a Dwight Evans late game bases learing triple...these F'Ing Bosox fans were high-fiving in front us trashing us, and even trashing our players !!??

I couldn't take it lol...the O's were clinging to the slimest of leads Boston and the eventual division champ Toronto were chasing us...in between games I roasted those Bosox fans....

I got all my friends to start on them, chants of Bucky Dent, Mookie Wilson, Bob Stanley, Bill Buckner...it was freaking hlarious!!! We had those fans slumping in their seats...Its still funny when i think back to that DH...

The O's went on to win Game 2 and we chanted 'No ground Gained' in their ears...lol, that was one time we had those damn Bosox fans quiet!

Sometimes when you were back at the concession's the Red Sox fans would cheer so loudly, you'd think the O's did something good...Only to walk out and see Yaz just homered!

Fun Times for sure...I still hate em all!

Those idiots ALWAYS go to someone else's field and try to take over.

I never shed a tear for a Sox fan who catches a beatdown in the Bronx. It's not right but be smart, you can cheer your team but KNOW that there will be some drunk guy from Brooklyn and maybe a buddy or two who will challenge you and likely bust your ass for cheering your team too loudly in our house.

I have a friend who is a Sox fan and he insists on wearing a jersey and cap to every Yanks/Sox game we go to. He also cheers very loudly but doesn't taunt. We've come close to brawling with others on more than one occasion. It pisses me off that someday I may have to give/take a punch because this jackoff decided that he HAS TO wear his gear to support his team.

thats funny Swami....imagine getting drilled by someone who's rooting for your Yankees Swami!!!

I went to NYC back in 83 and again in 89...the O'd swept the double header...Roenicke grand slam in game one and the O's won the nightcap going away, and won again the next day...I cheered in my head!

I wasn't about to standup and go nuts! This was 1983 I was just a kid who was nuts about his team...

I wasn't about to get jumped for cheering...I wouldn't like it at my park either, common sense really...

I have seem my share of baseball crowd brawls!

I call him lucky Cabrera. Probably just got frustrated from lack of hitting and swung through the middle of plate causing the ball to hit the bat and go over the fence. Still think we should have received better for Nomar, but as a Red Sox fan of course I'm still pulling for him. Maybe Cabrera and Manachevitz lol will begin to turn the corner.
