Don't believe that games are fixed on an ongoing basis but can be on a one time only deal. In the early eighties I was hanging around a lot of Colombians taking their Coke money at backgammon in California. One Saturday, one of the Colombians said that a well known running back in the NFL was into him for $25,000 of fronted coke. I suggested that he forgo the money if Mr RB dropped the ball a couple of times in the red zone. Mr RB showed up later that day. We freebased with him and he agreed to our offer. The RB was getting married to this rich girl. Somehow he got the money and payed off what he owed 3 days later so nothing happened. I was surprised how easy it was set up. I can see it being done on a one time basis but the risk of continuation is too great.
