make your blades last longer by completely drying them after each use. They don't really 'get dull' as much as they 'rust out' from water left on them. If you can leave them dipped in oil until your next use, that's even better. You can get a month out of a single 'disposable' razor.
Learned the drying of the blade technique from Clark Howard two years ago .....and when he said he has used the same disposable razor for a year was highly skeptical.
Well by God he was right!!!
I used to get by 5-6 days with a Mach III and now get 3-4 months on the same blade!!!!!, and could probably get a year out of it if absolutely needed.......this simple method will save one hundreds of dollars a year buying blades.
That was what the person that told Clark to do, but he said he just used a towel and it worked, thus I just rub the blade in a reverse motion on a towel a few swipes and my ONE blade lasts at least three months.How do you go about completely drying them? Not to be funny but do you use a hair dryer on it?
