deb...all due respect...you sound like a steeler homer.....it wasn`t necessarily a dirty play.......but it was unnecessary......the guy could barely stand up...he was the only one to initiate contact on the play...he`s a thug...like ray lewis,lol....isn`t he the one that spit in william green`s face in pre-game?....

he`s not a sportsman...i`ll leave it at that...

jacks...moore may become a very good player...but,if you follow the reavens,you are aware that he has a littl bit of a heart problem....he may well have cost the ravens the game vs cincy by catching a ball all by himself and laying on the ground...all he had to do was roll over to get a first that may have turned the game around......

and he`s becoming famous for cutting off patterns and alligator arming passes....

this is STILL the worst pass offense in pro football......

I'm not a Steeler homer at all, I live in the Bronx for goodness sake! However, I remember watching the game in question and find it odd the baltimore homers continually say" Yeah it was a legal hit on Porters part but it was still a dirty play".....Uhhhhhhh, excuse me but, last time I checked you CAN'T have it both ways....If the hit was legal then it also can not be characterized as a dirty play!

You guys are giving Joey Porter wayyyy too much credit in my humble opinion....apparently raven fans must think Porter is some sort of mind reader, raven backers keep saying "But Boller was going to spike the ball which means that the hit Porter put on Todd Heap was dirty"!

Come on now, how many times have you seen Peyton Manning as well as many other QB's in the league run up and fake like they are going to spike the ball, only to toss the rock for a first down or better yet toss the rock for a TD?

I can't remember what game it happened in a few weeks ago, but I do remember seeing a QB act like he was going to take the snap from the center and then came out from under center and started walking away as if he was going to call a timeout...the center then did a direct snap to the RB!

I honestly can not see how raven homers can blame Porter for hitting Heap, in the big scheme of things how was Porter to know the ravens weren't trying to pull a fake play?

i`m a ravens fan...and the push on heap was no biggie to me..it wasn`t vicious...just wasn`t necessary....but, hardly worth bitching about...

and you don`t have to live in pittsburgh to be a steeler fan...there are plenty of band wagoners jumping on the hot flavor of the day...


and the spitting in the face of green?...where i come from,that`s the dirtiest,filthiest thing one person can do to another.....

i see no way to rationalize that....that makes porter scum in my opinion....much like old oriole roberto alomar became scum when he spat in the umpire`s face years ago...

but that`s my opinion...as long as it`s not my face being spit into....that kind of crap raises my hackles a bit....

btw...we don`t disagree on everything....i like the squeelers myself this weekend......can`t be a homer when it comes to wagering.....

deb, you have to understand jacksorbetter is a loser just like his team. he is very frustrated man just like his team. when they were 4-2, he was saying how great his team and coach were and now he is looking for a bucket to puke in. because after sunday, his baltimore team will be sitting at home and watching the play-offs. by the way, marino won a game by faking the spike and throwing for a touchdown. if heap was hurt, he should of been on the bench. jacksorbetter, its time to fold them and look forward to next year because your team is done for the year. to talk about porter being shot and then having a thug like lewis get away with murder says it all about jacksorbetter. a loser, just like his team.
