ok Jazz, thanks for the input and advice. And I will ask them about the bad line error thing.

With my friend making money off of me, that is ok. I have no problem with that.

I guess my whole point here was to try and make it so people do not automatically bash something they are not familiar with. Is Saturn good--I guess time will tell. So far they have been. I just do not know how guys who DO NOT KNOW bash them or anyone else. I just think that is wrong.

Greg - WHY play with them????

You've confessed that you know of the top 15-20 books, so why play with these guys? Are they slow to move the lines? opinionated lines? What unique features do they offer that make you want to take a chance with them rather than playing with a top 10 shop that you know is financially well off and respected in the industry?

Gregg - let me give you another side to your "question". People come here to help protect themselves and their bankroll. So if we err we would rather err on the side of caution. What can happen is some guys buy a site and just open for business. They look around one day and realize we need customers. They themselves or others send "shills" out to shill for their book and plenty of them come here. When BetFlamingo went down we had paid shills in here propping them every chance they got. We are notorious for the Yahoops shills here as well. Usually the worse the book the more shills they have, what else can they do? They have no reputation or track history to speak of.

Normally there is nothing wrong with that to a certain degree but the problem is we can't tell scammers from good people. Every one here has seen shills for shit books come on here and rip folks off. Know what they say while they are selling the book to us? Gee it bothers the heck out of me to see you people bash a new book! Or they say how can you expect a new book to get customers if you bash them all, every CRIS or Pinnacle was new once too. Get my drift? They say the exact same things you are saying. You and this book may be pure as the driven snow but unfortunately we have no real way of knowing. Time usually bears this out. For that reason we are all a little skeptcial when it comes to our money and I think personally it's a good thing.

Nothing against the book and certainly nothing against you but the best factors are time in business and reputation. With so many fly by nighters that open for a season or two you will not get guys falling to their knees to thank you for speaking on a brand new book, just the way it is. Hell this book could be the same people at BetFlamingo that just ripped off so many people, I heard they were using a new name now. Hope this makes it a little easier for you to understand but I recommend sticking with well established books when you send your money to another country. To send it to a new book based on a posting name recommending them over the internet can be nothing but trouble, we've seen it all before. Good luck.

Patrick--All VERY good points. Thank you for the time that must have taken to respond. I understand that time and longevity prove a book out and I agree. But, instead of bashing the book, if people do not know, why can't they say they do not know? Why can't they say they are not familair with the book or something like that? Those are productive and true comments. But, saying a book does not pay or is shit, when they do not really know, is just wrong in my opinion.

Too many quality outs to choose from to risk playing at an unknown ...

This thread is very similar to another thread some months ago about a scam book called Bet Flamingo. Somebody asked about them and some guy posted praising about how good they were, sucking a lot of poor people into the trap.
When they stiffed people the poster suddenly dissappeared. Also this statement on their website troubles me: "We have thousands of inbound telephone lines so you NEVER receive a busy signal."
They have THOUSANDS of telephone lines?????
Noone has ever heard of them yet they have 1000's of telephone lines?? Give me a break!
I advise playing at no book that is not well known by the regular guys here. It is a recipe for disaster.

Why try to pick your corn out of a turd when you can pick fresh corn.

I mean sure there may be some good new books out there but why risk getting shit on your hands pickin em out.

I feel that way about new books nevermind new CR books.

Good Afternoon, I decided to sign up here at this forum. I have several other college friends of mine playing with saturn sports. I have never personally cashed out at this book but Seth Teagger did. I really do like the book but it has been the only book I have ever played at. I would rate them a good book since they paid my friend fast but hopefully I can cash out some profit!

I like st louis cardinals today and I will be taking them on the moneyline -200.

thanks for reading my post

Jay, when I add Saturn to the URL thread this will all be evidence when clicking on a review for this book.

I recently played at SAturnSports...and I must say their lines are quite 'generic' however, they do offer OVERNIGHT lines which is always a MUST...
They offered GREAT BONUSES - around 25% when i played...

I don't know about their payout situation since I never met the rollover yet...but i'll let everyone know.

Matt (and his fellow co-workers) are very friendly when talking to them on MSN or Email...and appear to be very knowledgable...
