Listen Slim and all, I am not defending them, I thing that they should have paid everybody their money but the fact of the matter is that it was either take what they gave you or take them to court and if you know CR you know that was not gonna get them anywhere.
I know that if employees pushed Vinny enough they could reach a decent agreement, employees were NOT going to get paid all there money so meeting half way was not such a bad deal.
I know it was all in the negociation skills they might had, I wish everybody had received what they deserved but I also know that something is better than nothing. We all know that many other books have closed and employees only learn about it when they go to work and nobody answers the door.
So ..rip off it was not,Could it have been better Definetly but this situation doesnt tarnish DSI reputation with players

Easy solution to this. Non paying of the employees was not a solid decision and I think by all accounts we will, as a group, agree to this.

Now, the book could easily set-up small installments to pay off each ex employee that is owed. I can see this may be a nice sum for an all at once payout, but like the credit player low on cash and owing, we appreciate the small installments over nothing.

Crooklyn hear what you are saying but can't agree. It's not like employees here are paid alot of money. So what they are owed in a situation like this is important to them. Not only that it is clearly stated by the labor laws here.As you say, don't see where these people had much of a choice.Just my humble opinion, but feel that it says something about the management at DSI.So with all the choices out there,I would look elsewhere for a shop.

Slim, I replied to your post but mine also dissapeared I wouldnt know why.
Maybe I shouldnt go into detail lets just say that we both know how it went and we have different opinions on it.
I just say that getting some of ur money is better than getting nothing.

Im with you AK.

And since Dandy's post was at 5:34pm and he was quoting that he would be paid by 5:00pm. I am sure that he was already paid by that quote and had just ommitted it from his post.
