In some ways Seattle's offense is better than NE's O:

Seattle has a QB who is very mobile & can run extremely well. NE does not.

Seattle has a top of the leaque running back. NE does not.

I doubt the Pats could stop Seattle's running attack. They couldn't even stop the Ravens.

That's ridiculous. They have a better offense because they have a mobile QB and a big name RB? OK

We're talking about the same team that hasn't gotten to 21 in 5 of their last 8 games right?

Learn to read. I said their offense is as good as NE's & better in some ways, not better overall.

As for points outpoint they were playing some of the leaques best D's in almost all of those games, &
still put up 35 on Arizona. The offense also got 24 points against a very good Carolina D last week.

NE hasn't met that quality of defenses. They generally choke & lose when they do. Example: Seattle,
which may be a better D than in those Super Bowls they lost to the NYG & the best of all time.

Look in the mirror. You erroneously called my comment "ridiculous" & now say this. LOL

Classic ad hominen.

Your comment IS ridiculous. I'm too lazy to look it up but I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that NE's offense is better in nearly every major statistical category than Seattle's. Don't just throw some random shit out there and hope it'll stick.

These are actual bettable #'s at Heritage. Similar numbers exist at 5Dimes. I jumped on one of them(Seat- Indy) but will very likely get my money back. If not, I think I have at least 3 points the best of what the actual line will be.

does playing in that offensively challenged division help their defensive numbers? or is that a one way street?

the Seahawks are better on D. The Pats D faced a much better team last week and allowed a whopping 10 points in the 2nd half. In the last 7 games, they have now allowed 19 second half points. 1 TD, 4 FG's and 3 shutouts. Their D is underrated, and the Hawks don't have the weapons on offense to put up big numbers on them.

I hope nobody thinks the Hawks are going to run the ball down the Patriots throats against BB's defense, especially with two weeks to prepare

the only reason I'm posting this is because people are making arguments about the Pats playing a "weak" schedule. I thought it might be a good time for a wake up call on that.

furthermore, how on earth could the Saints suck as bad as they did while playing the WEAKEST schedule? that's just messed up

Patriots on offensive are simply superior to the Seahawks, it's about the talent. The Hawks can run better, the Pats can score points against anybody

The Seahawks averaged 375 yards per game on offense. The Patriots only 365.

Defensively the Seahawks gave up a measly 266 yards/game. The Pats surrendered a whopping 344 yards,
almost as much as they gained on offense.

I hope nobody thinks the Hawks are going to run the ball down the Patriots throats against BB's defense, especially with two weeks to prepare

The Jets are one of the top rushing teams in yardage per game & ran for more than their season average
against the Pats this year. The Seahawks are even better in that regard than the Jets, being #1 in the
leaque with 172 yds/game rushing vs the #3 Jets at 142 yds/game.

NE struggles against teams like the Jets that can run well and are above average in defense. NE barely beat
the Jets in 2 games by a combined total of 3 points. Brady's offense averaged only 22 points scored/game.

Against a Seattle team that is superior to the Jets on both sides of the ball, NE would be in deep trouble.
Seattle is very strong against NE's weakness on D, defending the run. Seattle is top of the leaque vs the
Pats strength on offense, passing. NE is a below average running team, so they won't be able to run vs
Seattle's top of the leaque run D. That will make them one dimensional & predictable.

Bottom line. This is an extremely bad matchup for the Pats. They better get on their knees and pray for
a miracle, that it's GB that gets to the Superbowl.

Seattle's schedule ranked tied for the 3rd most difficult in the league, per the list below.

NE at 8th strongest schedule, so weaker than Seattle's schedule.

Obviously NE plays in a weaker division than Seattle. NE might not even make the playoffs if they played
in Seattle's division and conference.

What is ridiculous is:

1. Your misreprsentation of what i said.

2. You calling that misrepresentation ridiculous, a classic strawman.

3. Saying here not to throw out "random shit" while you do the same, as in your own words you are
"too lazy" to look it up.

I'd be all over that -2. Seattle should be at least -4 vs NE on a neutral field. Their O is as good as NE's
and their D is miles ahead of NE's D. Brady does poorly when up against a good D, as in the two losses
to the NYG in the Super Bowl, for example.
No it's not
In some ways Seattle's offense is better than NE's O:

Seattle has a QB who is very mobile & can run extremely well. NE does not.

Seattle has a top of the leaque running back. NE does not.

I doubt the Pats could stop Seattle's running attack. They couldn't even stop the Ravens.

Luckily they play it out on the field so I don't have to waste my breath arguing with a nimrod.
