Hopefully a new big time west coast conference will reemerge from the ashes of the Pac 8/10/12. The tv contracts might be bigger for the nationwide conferences, but I don't think the viewership will be as large for teams with no history against one another.

Personally, I don't like seeing traditions destroyed. I hated when they destroyed the best basketball conference with the best post season tournament in the country. My avatar used to say "nobody else has this", the BET in NYC at MSG. Legendary

Now they totally fucked up the PAC 12. If the PAC 12 held on to somebody, anybody, UConn was going to the Big 12. Butt no, they caved like a house of cards

When Jim Mora turns us into a ranked program, somebody is going to regret not taking the best basketball programs in the country with a solid athletic department and top tier in educational rankings that can bring in the entire northeast market

But I'm a basketball guy, I don't mind the Big East at all
