Just sad. No matter what the Republicans put up the flag pole, there are the same people on this forum that will put the blinders on and fight, fight, fight the Republican cause and say that thier "guy" could never possibly be wrong about one single thing.........:ohno:

DD27, there's another great example of re-writing history without being challenged. They now say they were hoodwinked by Bush into removing Saddam, and Bush lied about how dangerous Saddam was. The facts about what they were saying before Bush became President is simply swept under the rug, and their enablers in the media are stepping on that rug. They flat out refuse to tell the truth.

There is no question Wullster that the Dems were hot to trot for removal as well, i just think they lacked the "fortitude" to pull off such an act. As we know, better or for worse W thinks he has to use wheel barrows for his balls. That rather shared open belief for regime change is living proof of another example of how really little these two parties differ on, when you actually get the whore undressed and in the sac. And as much as you will disagree, i think most Americans would agree if they removed the blinders and stopped taking sides on imaginary teams. Wully happens to be one of the brighter guys on the board, and its because of his unrelenting tunnel vision makes him a loyal partisan solider. However, it makes you scratch your head when something so obvious can be so hard for someone to grasp.

My point is that Bush/Cheney made it sound at the time like this was the biggest threat to America since Pearl Harbor.

They ran it up the flagpole and the spineless Congress and Senate (with the exception of a few) were too afraid to stand against it. The bottom line is that Bush pushed it and sold it.

BTW, who was/is a bigger threat?

IRAQ or Al-quada in Afghanistan/Pakistan?

IRAQ or North Korea?

None of the above. The real enemy is your governments out of touch and out of control fiscal policies. Dont get it twisted.
