All the dynamic economies are in Toronto and Vancouver these days, with Calgary and Edmonton seeing some modest growth thanks to energy prices. What does Quebec offer other than a cheap place to do business? The weather is horrible, the weather and language situation make it next to impossible to get talented people from other parts of the country or world to relocate there, and then you have this group of Separatists that try to make the people believe that they fleece Canada even if they are independent. Fat chance of that. No one else in Canada wants to leave, how could you think it would break up?
