quality in the sports forums has plumeted since last year

I haven't been here that long, so I don't know what it was like in the golden days.

I like the forums. Information on sportsbooks, helpful guidance, help when we screw up. Side topics (music, general news) are good when I'm interested, don't reads them when I'm not.

H.I.P. is great.

And some of the posters really crack me up. I need a good luagh sometimes. Even the fights can geet quite humorous.

Mostly I'm here to learn (which I do) and amuse myself (which I do).

I dont think the "quality" has gone down at all. there is a different "feel" to the sports forum though.

i think there is a lot less comaradery(sp?) and sort of a changing of the guard so to speak of who the hot cappers are.

I would have to look at what forums looked like at this time last year to really give an informed opinion, because I think this is the start of the slowest time of the year when it comes to gambling. A couple reasons I think the forums seem slower are: Last year Rodfather, Jake and Dogball started to become worshipped by posters and all "went tout", creating a general mistrust towards hot posters. Second, ROdfather did a great job of self-promotion in his posts, until the recordkeeper proved that just because you market yourself well doesn't mean you're a good capper. Super Scout passing away didn't help either.

Like everything else in life things go in cycles and the RX is just in a down cycle right now. Cream will rise to the top just give it time.
