American I agree with you 1000% on the wiping out of Al Queda....
My Father is a muslim (although non practicing)...My Mother is a Christian & My Father is a muslim...I have an Islamic name...I am not religious but there are many many Muslims here & all over the world that are peace loving & feel terrorized by all this violence & are also ashamed that their religion is being associated with groups like Al Queida....
Personally my beleif is in the GOODNESS OF ALL PEOPLE, regardless of wether they are Hindu, Christian or Jew....
I just felt that the blanket statement of Muslim was said in emotion...remember...there are likely many Muslims in America who love to gamble & who are our fellow posters...
IN the nhl forum the other day someone commented they got 'JEWED' when they suffered a bad beat in a game. I suggested to them that the term was inappropriate in a public forum...(It is different among personal friends)...

All violence turns my stomach and senseless killing breaks the heart, but what I worry most about is the children. Our children just don't have the capacity to digest the horrors that the media is so ready to thrust upon us all. It is really sad how we ignore the most important element for the future preservation of our society, our children.
I am heartbroken for the children in their country who in no way deserve any of this. They must live in terror every day, which is just unimaginable, much more so under the Hussein regime.
This is the one justification that I do give my support for the war, to relieve a country, especially its women and children of an evil despot and his sick cadre.
But, I feel we must get our eyes back on the ball....the target is Al-Queda and the network of terror. They MUST be exterminated.
But please media, have some regards for the innocent young ears and eyes of the world
