Thanks guys. You're not kidding about the drama! Just by reading some of these threads, you can easily see why sportsbooks and Vegas do so well. Being productive and winning is just not sexy, I guess. I don't mind staying clear of it. I'd rather be the guy hitting 92% buried on page 6 then the circus show on the front page.:howdy:

My main benefit of success is what it does to my bankroll. If you're following, great, you're benefitting. If you're not, you're not. First off, there's tons of silent lurkers who don't want to be seen or heard. Secondly, I could go four or five days without a play which causes this thread to drift off to page 6. Thirdly, I'm still fairly new at the RX (less than 300 posts) although I joined years ago. I posted at another place from 2002-2007 but got tired of the BS and quit for a little while. I finally realized that you can't control what happens on a public forum and learned not to care about those things. I post to share with people that appreciate it and I only post if I have something worthwhile.

Other than that, I missed the first 13 games. There might be some people that don't believe those 13 games all won and need to see more proof than the 10-2 I've posted since. I also know for a fact there's many out there who don't understand the concept of playing all favorites (some of them large like tonight), thinking this is a losing proposition. These people are failing to realize that it doesn't matter what you play (big favs, small favs, underdogs, etc.) as long as your win rate exceeds the average price you're paying. That's ALL it comes down to. Just playing all underdogs doesn't make you a winner. The odds are easier but the wins are fewer. There's still a profit margin to exceed and it's just as hard. It all comes down to outperforming the odds. My average price after tonight is -152 which requires a minimum 61% win rate to profit. It's simple math. The great equalizer is return on investment (total $ wagered divided by profit/loss). This tells you how much you profit (or lose) on each dollar risked; i.e. how efficient your wagers are. I've seen guys playing all dogs with negative R.O.I.'s. My R.O.I. is in the last two posts.

Anyway, as far as the interest level from the board, if I put my record in the title heading, things would probably change. I'm not sure I care to do that though. We'll see. I do enjoy the interaction, as does every other single person that posts on a public forum. The downside for all of us is when it gets too crazy though.

Am trying to learn as much as possible so am able to supplement my Social Security after I sell my business, hopefully in a few months. Than plan to use what have learned from these forums.
