NF, I know we've discussed this before in this thread.. but I can't help cringing at the ML sometimes. Do you by chance have a record of the RL compared to the ML this season on your system? If you don't have one handy, i can go back and calculate. Thank you for the profits.

:toast:

I don't have the RL prices but the regular plays would be 32-17 on the RL and the filtered plays are 23-7. You can play them any way you want. I just spit out the ML's.

I use the ML's mostly because I know the numbers work. The average price on filtered plays is -152 all season. That means around 61% breaks even but they're hitting at 90%. That's all you really need; to outperform the average odds. 21 of the 30 filtered plays have been lined in the cheapest pocket between -125 and -149. I think there's a misconception by some that this thing only picks big favs. Truth is, most of the plays have been reasonable.

Thanks gents.

File this in the "Frustrating Things That Make No Sense" category. Since I made the supposed "improvements" during the All-Star break, we have gone 8-3. Had I stayed with the former way I was crunching the numbers, we would have been 9-0.

Also, the filtered plays have gone 5-2 in the same stretch, which means we've filtered out 3-1.

LMAO....oh well.

Hey, a handful of games don't tell the whole story. I put my faith in things that are logical before what the results of a few games tell me and this new way just makes more sense. I expect it to pan out in the end but, man, it's not even close so far.

Either way, once I get through this maiden run for pulse baseball, everything should be decided upon for 2010, even if it means returning to the old way. I still think it's better now though.

Just thinking out loud...
