Jesus I was looking over Pudges stats for the last 4 years, to try and bring some positive to the table and couldn't even do that. I didn't realize Pudge has such a low OB%, In the last 4 years he's struck out 327 times and only walked 65 times. Thats horrible. .287 average over that time ain't bad, but only .312 OB % is pathetic.

With the Tigers last year in 502 at bats, he struck out 96 times and only walked 9 ... Crazy stats.

By your post you seem to just be a yankee hater, the guy is a .295 hitter and has a CANNON... Yankees now have the Best catcher in the AL EAST
Not much competition there. Tek? no... Barajas/Zaun? no.. Navarro? no... Hernandez? no. Now that's a group of all-stars if i've ever seen one.

As a tigers fan, at first I was shocked but then I thought about it and realized it's a great trade for detroit. Pudge was in his final year of his contract and the tigers badly need bullpen help. The only thing is i think the tigers should've got another player from the yankees instead of just one. Overall good trade for the tigers

watched almost every Tigers game for years. Pudge plays with a ton of passion, Yankees fan will love that.

You have to do what you have to do and the Tigers bullpen situation was pretty rough. Be interesting what role Farnsworth will have in Detroit.

Farnsworth is one of those plugs that gets recycled from team to team that sucks.

There are about 5 farnsworths in the MLB right now.
Someone got the idea that he was good and people still believe it for some reason.

Maybe it was that 103 MPH fastball he had when he was a rookie.

Your going to miss Todd Jones.

Farsworth can take his 29-47 record , and his 4.42 E.R.A and hit the road.
