Yeah, I didnt see the video - I only the saw Fake News shit - the black kid is shown in a military style outfit - he's clean cut and looks like he could be graduating from the Naval Academy - the two what dudes like like racist white trash - seemed like there are so many issues here - was the kid trying to break into a building? was he out jogging for exercise or sprinting like he's fleeing a crime - one of the shooters was a former cop - what's his history (why former) - and of course, now we only have one side to tell us what happened
The video makes it appear like to KKK guys with guns are rushing to confront a black kid and when they pull up next to the kid the driver jumps out with a shotgun. The kid looks like he fears for his life so he starts to tussle with the driver with the shotgun and the gun goes off accidentally. The kid takes a few steps and falls over.
No matter what, that kid was jogging down the road and two guys with guns confront him with the driver being the aggressor and because of the driver's actions, the kid is dead.
Involuntary manslaughter. There was no intent that I saw but clearly negligence.
I don't know why a few of you guys are putting the second guy in the bed of the truck in the same boat as the aggressive guy? Sure, he was with the driver and had a gun but unless there was a plan between the two together to set off to kill, assault or kidnap this kid, the second guy although dumb, did nothing aggressive to be complicit in this thing like his partner.
I’m not a lawyer and certainly not a legal expert, but I thought if you initiated a physical altercation while having a loaded firearm, involuntary went out the window. Someone dying in this scenario is not an unexpected outcome in the series of events. As for the father, I’m pretty sure there’s a likely charge for him as well. When you scream for your son to grab the guns and chase someone down, said person being killed is not an unexpected outcome, granted it’s a lesser charge than the killer, but you incited the series of events.
Maybe we have some lawyers on the board who can correct any areas I misspoke. In addition, I know laws can vary state to state and I have no idea what GA law cites on these types of situations.
The Post, citing a police report, said Arbery was spotted jogging by Gregory McMichael, the former investigator. News4Jax reported that the father called 911 at 1:08 p.m. to report a “black man running down the street.”
He reportedly told a dispatcher that he suspected Arbery was involved in recent burglaries.'
The 64-year-old called his son and they armed themselves, according to the report. The police report says Gregory McMichael told officers he and his son first tried to stop Arbery by shouting, “Stop, stop, we want to talk to you!”
The father claimed that Arbery attacked his son and they got into a struggle for a shotgun. Police said the son fired two shots.
The video helps - doesn't show everything - but it shows me enough - that guy looks like he's out jogging - the guys in the truck look like they're up there waiting for him - this is some form of homicide and from the video it looks like premidated highest degree of murder - I have read that the shooters have all kinds of ties to the police and district attorney's office
