There were 15,000 people in MSG last night. There were 9,000 people watching the Islanders in person last night.

The Astros and Rangers are playing in full stadiums.

None of these venues require proof of immunity.

This take aged like baby milk.

Cant really compare what New York is doing compared to Texas but i figure if New York is allowing 15k into their venue, then everything will be ok.

Curious to know if you have to show proof of vaccination in NY (i doubt it). I assume all venues are just doing a temperature check before you enter the venue?

"A large majority of Canadians believe a COVID vaccine passport should be required for travel.

An Angus Reid poll shows that 76% of Canadians would support mandatory vaccination proof for travel to the United States; that figure goes to 79% in favour of vaccine proof for international travel.

People are less interested in a vaccine passport for everyday activities at home, such as going to restaurants or movie theatres. Although a majority (55%) still support proof of vaccination for these activities, some 41% are against the idea.

As as the poll says, that latter figure is high enough to make implementation difficult.

A large majority (69%) want to see vaccine passports required at large public gatherings, such as major concerts or other events with more than 50 people.

Not surprisingly, the poll found that those who travelled regularly before the pandemic were more likely to say the Canada/U.S. border should be opened. Still, almost half (48%) think the border should remain closed until September.

"Top officials at the NBA and MLB hope the worst of the coronavirus pandemic is behind them as teams start to welcome fans back into stadiums. But to watch the game live, a growing number of venues are asking visitors to prove they've gotten their shots by displaying what's called a "vaccine passport."

Dated March 23:

"Beginning on April 1, the New York Islanders are adjusting the requirements allowing fans back into the Nassau Coliseum.
Fans will be allowed to show a negative COVID-19 antigen test result or proof that they’ve been fully vaccinated as a way to get into the arena. The antigen test result must have been within six hours of game time and anyone showing proof of vaccination must have received their final dose at least 14 days prior to the game.

The new options are in accordance with new state guidelines from Albany. Originally fans could only use a negative PCR test result to gain entry into sports venues in New York State.

The New York Islanders are still partnered with Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care centers to make sure fans can get negative PCR tests back in time for game days, but they are now also recommending utilizing NY Forward Rapid Test Program sites that can get antigen test results back to people within 30 minutes.

The New York Rangers and Knicks announced on Monday a similar change in their entry policies."

There are exactly 0 sports venues in America requiring proof of immunity to go to a sporting event.

See post 29. Is that no longer in effect?

Post 29 doesn't say proof of immunity is required.

It says: "Fans will be allowed to show a negative COVID-19 antigen test result or proof that they’ve been fully vaccinated"

As I've said before, you don't even understand the stuff you link to.

So you assume incorrectly. I displayed no lack of understanding of anything. I simply asked you a question. Which you didn't even answer.

If you understand it correctly, why are you referring to a post that does not say proof of immunity is required?

America isn't the whole world, even if most Americans here act like it is.

According to the following site:

"For Hungarian fans: Hungarian immunity card; a negative PCR test is not sufficient for Hungarian fans."

"...Copenhagen...Negative Covid 19 test result, proof of Covid 19 vaccination or proof of Covid 19 immunity may be required; exact regulations will be announced prior to the tournament

I will be at the Miami HEAT game on Saturday.

I will give a full report. My family and I plan on wearing masks during the game (no need to crap on me for this)

I have no clue whether masks are required or not.

I am pretty certain we don’t have to show proof of vaccination.

I’m just happy that I’m going to enjoy a live sporting event for the first time since December 2019 (I have no clue what I even attended but I’ll go with fins vs bengals)
