To be fair, a LOT of games have moved from Saturday to Sunday. I look at SBROdds religiously for line movement, percentages, etc. and for some reason the tons of lines move yesterday, more than usual.

1 week till gameday = public bettors FINALLY willing to lock up their $$$ on teams?

I know unbelievable..

Gyno, that line will grow as all square betting friends have said Michigan is a lock. They have asked me numerous times who is Western Michigan. Just wait until the money start pouring in on Michigan later in the week

1-We know Rich Rodgriguez got great results from his players at West Virginia.

2-We now know that he has been working his players roughly twice as much as other rule abiding teams. We can fairly assume this isn't a new policy he has just now started at Michigan.

3-Some players have complained.

I think Rodriguez is pretty shitty if he is really working players this much over the NCAA regulations. But this does kind of confirm that he might have an advantage. Is this advantage going to be outweighed by discontent on the team... who knows?

I've seen the line at -13, I think at the Hilton. If it goes over 2 TD's, I'm jumping on the Broncos.

They must not like Rich or they just dont want to become better players.

There is a definite divide between Lloyd's guys and R--Rod's guys...

Listen, this is nothing new. Having played D-1 FB, myself and my teammates also put in ungodly hours to prepare, watch film, practice, workout, etc to get ready for games and practices. All summer workouts are considered "voluntary," but if you are in a position battle or are trying to impress the coaches, the workouts now become "mandatory" from a personal perspective. We never had coaches present, but the upperclassmen took attendance...plus we also had coaches making frequent stops by film rooms to monitor who was or wasn't in there...sometimes I had a day or days that looked like this:

Monday:
Weights 7am-8am
Class 8:30a-11a
Lunch12-1
Film study/treatment 1-2
Meetings 2-3
Practice 3-5:30
Dinner 6-7
Film or study table 7-9/10

This went on all week...except on some days I didn't have class. The workouts became longer and the film sessions longer too...40+hrs a week...

Do you think Tebow devotes the minimum 20 hours a week to football??? He has said that he is out there early and stays late, and then watches film around the clock. This situation boils down to players that do not take the job of being an athlete serious and prolly do not like the strict rules of having to participate in these so called extended film sessions and team meetings that are optional. If you are not there, the coaches are going to see it as you do not want to get better and be there. Plain and simple, and they will make sure someone passes you up. They live, eat, and sleep their sport and want their players to do the same.[/quote]

I agree 100 percent on this, I bet a lot of top programs probably violate these practice rules, tebow and his gang are probably putting in 11 hour days and loving every minute of it

WM Line Going Up

Serious bettors usually bet earlier than the casual bettors. This is why the line often moves late on name teams like Mich, Ala, OSU and ND. I would have expected the line to move more later this week in favor of Michigan before these allegations hit.

Ironically, David Mayo, who covers UM for the Grand Rapids Press, thinks WM has an excellent chance to win the game. I do not know about excellent, but I think this game is almost a coin flip.
