Problem with Bodog

Search
Everything looks to be working out ok. They acknowledged that it was their fault, stating their processor billed me twice by mistake. And their going to pay all NSF charges on my bank account.Unfortunately it looks like its going to be rebilled one more time however, since by the time they realized the mistake, its already through the system and can't be stopped. But they stated they will make good on any additional charges that pop up.

Bull Dozer call Barry Clark tomorrow. I was slow payed by B0 Dog this summer as well as Sir Bet. I knew there must have been a reason for these slow pays even though they had lame excuses at the time. You have to realize that you are dealing with 3rd World countries and things don't always go as smoothly as you would like them to.

I saw a couple people mention Mike Silver ties to Bodog....does anyone know if there is any truth behind it?

For that matter, I've read the same about Sting & the old GA.....anyone know anything on that front?

Sorry to hear about your problem. I agree with others that this should be a sign to beware of BoDog. I use Rio and have never had any problems. I would definitely notify your bank not to accept any future transactions from this company!

I spoke with someone I beleive and trust who tells me no ties between Silver and Bodog. He is high up enough there to know. Also if there was a slow pay situation with Bodog it was probably a technical thing since they are flush.I have not heard any other complaints about a slow pay there.Plus we are talking about an incident that happened over the summer. They may not be the right book for everyone, but I would not be concerned about getting paid.

Assuming you are talking about the E-Mail Sting posted ... well, I don't know any more than the next guy.

Here's what I do know:

1. The E-Mail was posted at Sting's, and speaks for itself, I guess.

---

2. I personally saw the BoDog E-Mail address before it was deleted.

Would Sting have faked the E-Mail address on purpose ? I doubt it.

Might Sting have purposely left the E-Mail address on display for a period of time before deleting it ? It's certainly possible.

Whatever the case, given the content of the E-Mail, I'm somewhat surprised Sting ever posted it to begin with (whether or not he edited out the E-Mail address), given that it gives the impression that Sting isn't in control of his own website / enterprise ...

... that he isn't Master of His Domain.
