It really doesn't matter. When sea level rises over 20 feet wiping out many coastal communities and climate change devastates crops there'll be fewer of us to debate whether we are in fact responsible for the changes.

When sea level rises over 20 feet...yeah riiiiiight.

When it happens...call us...because it's not happening now.

This is one of my favorite scare headlines.

There is no evidence at all for this. None.

That's 37 years. We've had two feet of snow in Vancouver over the past 11 days and I shovelled another 3 inches of global warming out of my driveway today. So whats your point?

Wow. Great catch! You are really sharp. I guess you were here on my couch watching the news when the weatherman clearly said 40 years.

And total crop failures...

And increases in the severity of storms...

And mass extinction of species...

What I've read is that the sea level is rising at the rate of 1/10 of a foot per year. At that rate, in 100 years the sea level will be 10 feet higher than it is now.

Whoopty doo.

It's a good thing liberals like Cheryl Crow suggested limiting
the amount of toilet paper squares one uses while taking a dump,
in order to help global warming.

She'd been drinking Al Gore's kool-aid.

Dumb-ass liberals fawned all over the farce as they gave him
the Nobel Peace Prize for lies and bullshit.

He probably has a room just for the prize in his 10,000 sq ft
energy sucking mansion.

Pass the global warming kool-aid, yummy!!!!!

2 + 2 = 4

Anyhow all kidding aside....If each and every person on the planet disappeared off the face of the earth tomorrow morning, Global Warming would continue, in other words, WE are NOT the primary cause...and thus neither are CO'2's......And nevermind AL Gore, thats the Club of Rome and the United Nations talking....

Oh yeah...and Fuck Maurice Strong....

North Africa was a major wheat producer in Roman times, places like Carthage around Libya and Tunisia were major food production centres.

It's just a big beach now, a part of the sahara desert.

I do not even know where to begin on this one! Yes, the global warming agenda is just a hoax. But why? What is the real goal? Well lets start with some public quotes from some people that are totally behind this BS.

Prince Phillip said on the floor of the United nations that his one dream is "he wants to die and reincarnate and come back as a deadly virus and kill off 80% of the human population" (just google it)

Secretary of the UN earth summit Maurice Strong said this "Isn't it the only hope of saving our planet to have the industrialised nations collapse.....is it not our duty as leaders to bring this about" (google it)
(it's what they are doing now)

How about this NUT:
At present the population of the world is increasing at about 58,000 per diem. War, so far, has had no very great effect on this increase, which continued throughout each of the world wars. War has hitherto been disappointing in this respect but perhaps bacteriological war may prove more effective. If a Black Death could spread throughout the world once in every generation, survivors could procreate freely without making the world too full. The state of affairs might be somewhat unpleasant, but what of it. Really high-minded people are indifferent to happiness, especially other peoples.
Lord Bertrand Russell, The Impact of Science on Society, 1953

Here is another one:
I got the impression that instead of going out to shoot birds, I should go out and shoot the kids who shoot birds.
Paul Watson, founder of Greenpeace, as quoted by Dixy Lee Ray in her book Trashing the Planet (1990)

Childbearing should be a punishable crime against society, unless the parents hold a government license. All potential parents should be required to use contraceptive chemicals, the government issuing antidotes to citizens chosen for childbearing.
David Brower, first executive director of the Sierra Club; founder of Friends of the Earth; and founder of the Earth Island Institute.
(after reading that one, sounds a little like Hitler's want of a "perfect" race and is there any wonder why we have so much sicknesses and death?)
Also: Do not take flu shots....they contain Themerasol (fancy name for Mercury) It supposedly is used as a preservative so that the vaccines have a longer shelf life. But again, if you google it, you will find tons of information about the links between Autism and Alzheimers disease. No, you wont hear the government controlled media reporting that one!

Another:
I suspect that eradicating small pox was wrong. It played an important part in balancing ecosystems.
John Davis, editor of Earth First! Journal

Another:
A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.
Ted Turner
, media mogul, as quoted in Audubon, November-December 1991.

.Another:
Cannibalism is a radical but realistic solution to the problem of overpopulation.
Dr Lyall Watson, anthropologist, Commissioner for the International Whaling Commission, as quoted in the Financial Times, 15 July 1995.

.Another:
To feed a starving child is to exacerbate the world population problem.
Dr Lamont Cole, Professor of Ecology, Cornell University, as quoted by Elizabeth Whelan in her book Toxic Terror

And people call me "nuts"???? WOW, these are all well educated successful people that have made their money and life's work based on these things!!!
Also, notice the common denominator in several of the above.....Green Peace, Earth Institute etc.....hence....the global warming propaganda!

Also, google "Georgia Guidestones"

Custom, what exactly is your point? I cannot really see a connection between people advocating a reduction in population numbers (I'd actually like to know the exact circumstances those quoted statements were made in) and the current global-warming alarmists.

The only debate is if global warming is man made. The hard data shows a steady tempature increase for the last I don't know how many years.

Actually it pissed off McCain and fellow GOPers when Palin said it wasnt man made. (just another one of her gaffs)

No. Because it's not a popular public opinion. This is politics, remember ;)

You say whatever it takes to get the people to love you.

eek, people love 'going green' these days. It's the trend. Your standard light bulb won't even be available for purchase soon, going to be all fluorescent and then eventually LED.

Have you ever seen a LED flashlight? They are rediculously bright and effecient.

Im not proud of it, but in the grand scheme of things i agree with this sentiment. Darwinism.

There is no question that global warming is happening. And there is also no question that some of it is man made.

The only real debate that is happening right now is to what extent are we influencing it? Are we a drop in the ocean or a much larger factor?
