PPH's are not all the same. Not only speaking about the price and services. You need to make sure you have solid line managers, wagering clerks, and technology. The value is in the lines not the overall price, but that can also be important if you have 100's of players. So many "players" in the PPH world again, but not all are equal. Good luck BiGGvinny!

"the value is in the lines"... is this a reference to proper line management or the actual odds themselves? in other words what do people think of a pph service that offers alot of -105 vs a pph offering -110 if the actual $ per head was similar?

I understand there is no correct answer, just looking for opinions, experience, personal preference, bad advice, etc.

thanks

Proper line management is the key in my experience. (i am not a line manager)

The agent can determine if he wants reduced juice or not.

After line management you can start to add the other intangibles like software (very important), wagering, 100% english speaking clerks, differnt markets such as, horse and casino, and friendly customer service. Also, a good PPH manager to handle all the needs of its agents. All important qualities that will make a PPH offering stand out and provide important value you to your players.

Great questions BetLarge!

Any book that has a successful PPH business would be NUTS to move on any sheet or player..The obstacle is to get these agents to trust you with their business..Once you have gained trust, the rst is EZ

It's not usually the shop itself, but I've heard of a couple of rogue employees' that decide it's time to make a few sheckles and take things into there own hands.

thats not really what I had in mind... was thinking of clients just joining the book and setting up a real account (without an agent) in order to take advantage of reduced juice, bonuses, etc...
