DannyMay, many people already know that I am a conservative, republican, and a Hispanic person of dual citizenship USA/Costa Rica.
I consider it very insulting that you call people whom think contrary to you Little Hitlers. On a personal basis, I do not agree with many people whom have been posting here but I respect their point of view and would not insult them.
Now, Hitler, was against the concept of Jews, Gypsies and anyone from an ethnic background. I dont think that there is anyone here who thinks like Hitler. If there is, that person or persons is a small minority.
We are all grown ups and civilized people, try to act that way. After all, I dont agree with your way of thinking but I respect it. Heck, I probably would even share a beer with you if I knew you.

Here the Libs get called, wussies, pusses, anti-Americans, Saddam lovers, communists, socialists, and so on.
I think the Hitler thing stuck with some in reaction to that and because of a couple of other reasons. One, Bush's dictorial tendecies, the fact that many think he wants to rule the world and finally the claims that he's a racist.
Personally I don't use the term, or at least I don't think I have. I try to avoid the name calling and totally agree with you on that one. I have however lost my temper a time or two due to the extremely offensive nature of some people's posts here. While some of the Conservs like yourself, Jazz, Razz, support their points of view through debate, there are others that simply use this as a means to insult Libs. Equally, there are Libs that do the same thing.

Exactly Alex. The war supporter side has tried desperatly to equate Saddam with Hitler. In fact there is a thread up right now titled " Hitler had nothing on Saddam". If Saddam is worse than Hitler, as your side claims your calling us "Saddam Lovers" is the same as me calling you little Hitlers.
