I dont think that he has paid me thousands in contest and poker dollars as he said.

I thought they were pretty clearly spelled out, but apparently that doesn't matter.
I dislike PO69 just as much if not more than anyone, but I hate to say it: he's right. That play absolutely should not have counted.
Drama and feuding with other posters and Sportsgirl being caught in the middle of it aside, rules are rules.
I have a feeling that if you guys were in PO69's shoes AND the stakes were much higher, you'd be singing a different tune. Of course, many won't admit to that, but if, say, 10 dimes were on the line, I'm guessing there'd be a lot of people switching sides.

just seeing this now. I missed the sportsgirl drama today. just looking back. I can not believe they did not DQ her late pick. EVen in a free contest it takes many minutes each day to think of picks figure out what is the right thing to do and post. of course supporting many of the books at a forum site also with aciton and post up cash. (ie these are not really free contests) . I dont think you can just say "its a free contest roll with it"... the girl did the right thing and waited it out but missed the deadline. ouch she did a risk reward and she missed it by a minute or less..so be it...now did you actually beat her with the -140 loss she should have earned for a misplay or no play?
Well with the -140, I did beat her. My point was that I really didnt want the under pick. I only took it because the line was stale line and should have been 7.5 instead of 8. And since she didnt make a pick, then I could actually tie the total 8 and win when she lost the -140
Of course, my record was only 6-0-1. When I was 5-0, she took a guess at a +750 dog and hit it! Then she was ahead. But she deserved the loss.

We will begin Saturday, Jul 5, and since this is a Holiday weekend, we will add an extra day and end the first round after Saturday Night's games are completed on July 12th (8 days). On Sunday, July 13, we'll get started with round No.2.
You may not use the same play as your opponent. Two people going head to head can not use the exact same play. So, if you see your opponent on a play, you may not use it. The first to post a pick is entitled to that pick.
