and they been fking kids in all that time as well
I was very much involved in two parishes and had friends over the years in others. That crap never touched any of us. Did it happen? Yes. But it was a small minority of "bad" priests who were involved. It was very, very far from every priest in every parish.

The Catholic Church has done a ton of good over the years. Orphanages, hospitals, schools, adoption services, fed the poor, missions to uncivilized places, and spread a message of goodwill to your fellow man. There have been a lot of selfless Catholics. Many more than any organization anywhere.

I get upset when the whole Catholic Church and all the good they have done gets smeared because of the awful acts of some priests who were very much in the minority.

Perspective.

Unfortunately, pedophilia is the REAL pandemic destroying modern society.

Nearly every trusted institution has been infected/infiltrated by this evil, and the coverups go straight to the top - the Roman Catholic Church no exception.

One internal French Catholic Church inquiry found 216,000 cases since 1950.

It described the abuse as "systemic", turning a blind eye to abusers and even knowingly putting children in touch with predators.

Like I said, straight to the top.

So many secrets...

So much evil in this troubled world..

Dark to Light.

No doubt, but people who do all the finger pointing at priests have their own skeletons.

I have every reason to believe Jeffrey Epstein is still alive under witness protection.

The coming chapters of that story will SHOCK THE WORLD.

Everything happening goes back to the kids..

Pedophilia is the REAL pandemic.

Wasn't Epstein found dead in his jail cell?
Yes...yes, he was.

Right when the cameras outside his cell just happened to "malfunction"

Then they released all the photographic evidence to convince, ya know, the masses (but especially the bad guys) that Jeffrey Epstein was in fact dead of a suicide.

Case closed.

Soooo, that's it... right? The bad guys got away with another crime...again.

Ultimately, do you believe Good triumphs over Evil?

It seems the Author was an Atheist , BUT it doesn't prove a hit-piece

There has been many accusations made against Mother Teresa over the years by people ( atheists & religious people )

Just because the author was an atheist doesn't mean his accusations aren't true

The woman spent her life in the service of others. Period. Ask the thousands of people she helped if she was saint or sinner. Read a balanced article that chronicles her good deeds. Do you know what Calcutta was like 50 - 75 years ago? She worked in squalor amongst the poorest of the poor. She is a much better woman than I am a man. It's not even close. Anything that suggests otherwise is written by an clueless, self serving anti religious bigot.

MISSIONARIES OF CHARITY
CARRIERS OF GOD’S LOVE
“Whatsoever you do to the least of my
brethren you did it to me.” (Mt 25:35-40)
The Missionaries of Charity Sisters (Mother
Teresa’s Sisters or the Sisters of Mother Teresa,
as many call us) is a religious community in the
Catholic Church, founded by Mother Teresa of
Calcutta (now St. Teresa of Calcutta) in 1950
in Calcutta, India. Our community is totally
dedicated to the service of the poorest of the
poor, irrespective of social class, creed or
colour. We deliberately choose to show God’s
concern for the poorest and the lowliest,
remaining right on the ground, while offering
immediate and effective service to those in
need, until they can find someone who can help
them in a better and more lasting way.

I ask you, does she look like a grifter in those pictures?

“Our Lord wants Indian nuns, victims of His love,
who would be so united to Him as to radiate His
Love on souls - who would lead Indian lives,
dress like them, and be His light, His fire
amongst the poor, the sick, the dying, the
beggars and the little street children.”

On 10 September 1946, Mother M. Teresa (a
Loreto nun at a time) received an inspiration
from God to found a new congregation devoted
to the service of the poorest of the poor. After
obtaining the approval of the Archbishop of
Calcutta, Ferdinand Perier, S.J., and the
permission of Holy See (Vatican), Mother Teresa
left the Loreto convent in August 1948 to begin
her new work among the poor in the slums of
Calcutta. The first 12 young women, most of
whom knew her as she had been their teacher
and head mistress, followed in her footsteps
and soon become known as the “running
congregation” in Calcutta slums. On 7 October
1950, Archbishop Perier, S.J. erected the
Missionaries of Charity as a diocesan
congregation, for the Archdiocese of Calcutta.

Mother Teresa began to visit the poorest of the poor in
their homes and on the street, to care for the sick and
the dying, and to gather and teach little street children.
She opened slum schools, medical dispensaries and food
distribution centers. In 1952, Mother Teresa opened
“Nirmal Hriday” (Immaculate Heart), the first home for
the dying destitutes; in1955, she opened “Shishu Bhavan”
the first home for the abandoned children and
in 1957 the first mobile leprosy clinic. Her first mission
outside Calcutta was in Ranchi in 1959. Throughout the
1950s and early 1960s, Mother Teresa expanded the
work both in Calcutta and throughout India. In 1965
when she and her “little band” courageously embarked
on a first mission “abroad” in Cocorote, Venezuela; very
soon followed foundations on all five continents. At the
time of Mother Teresa’s death in 1997, there were 3914
sisters in 594 missions in 123 countries
Various works developed as she endeavored to meet the
needs of the poorest of the poor around the world. In
time it included homes for them, those who had TB,
those physically and mentally challenged, those
suffering with various mental illness, AIDS patients,
night shelters, soup kitchens, homes for the unwed
mothers and mothers with children in difficulties,
afterschool programs and summer camps for the
children from the poor families, and so on.

///

Spare us the anti religious bullshit. People like this woman are the real heroes of this world.

Since forgiveness is a tenet of most Christianity, wouldn't the better question be, how do all Christians feel about pedos in the same spaces as them in the after world?
