Washington +4 -109 (@ Balty)
Washington's two wins have come against teams with a combined record of 2-6. Balty's three wins have come against three teams with combined records of 3-9. Looks like the same ratio to me. I'll take the generous +4.

Detroit +3 +100 (vs Philly)
This is the Super Stinky line of the day. 3-0 Philly, well rested off their bye, comes to the Town of Rusty Old Cars and Bad Football and is only a 3 point favorite? The gasses coming out of those rusty tailpipes stink bad.

Philly line does stink...Philly wins by 3 or less here on some last minute backdoor bullshit after a suspect PI call against Philly.

Yea, that stinker sure stunk, Gas.

Lousy afternoon.

Add Sunday night:

Green Bay -7 +104 (vs NYG)
I don't have anything to support this pick. Just think the Odell Beckham antics say something bad about the G-men and I'm expecting it to play out on the field in some way. High profile disruptions tank teams.

Add Monday:

Tampa Bay +5' -103 (@ Car)
One of these teams is 1-0 in the Division. One is 0-1. Normally I would be on the team who is 0-1. But the 1-0 team is likely smelling blood for the first time in a while. Carolina is banged up. But beyond that this Tampa team, although only 7-13 SU the last two years, is 3-1 SU and ATS when on the road in their Division. Oh yea. They were lined as +9', +7', and +2' in those three SU road Div wins. Go Jamies Winston.

Week 6

Thursday:

San Diego +3 -108 (vs Denv)
This a king stinker. Check out these San Diego stats. 0-9 SU last nine in the Division. 0-9!!! 0-3 SU in Spotlight games over the last two years. While Denver is 5-1 ATS in Spotlight games over the past two years.

Buuuuutttt....

San Diego is 5-0 ATS their last 5 in the Division. While Denver is 1-3 ATS their last 4 in the Division.

Buuuuttt....

Despite the fact that Denver is 4-1 SU while San Diego is 2-3 SU, San Diego is 0-2 in the Division having already lost to Kansas City and Oakland. They really need this game or their season is over in Week 6. I think they get it. Go Bolts.

I wish I had a Baseball pick today. I have a feeling the game will be in Kenley Jansen's hands with LAD leading 3-2 in the 8th or 9th with the Cubs having the sacks full and 1 Out. What happens from there I don't know. Kershaw is not on normal rest. Hendricks was hurt in his last start. Tough One! As far as SNF goes I'm leaning UN 48. The last 8 HOU Home games have averaged 34 points. If I have a really good day I'll probably bet it. If I go 3-2 or worse this afternoon I'll pass..... Will update later if I add.

Sunday:

New England -7' +108 (vs Cincy)
Cincy was 13-3-1 ATS last year. This year they are 1-4 ATS. Why? Because they aren't the same team. After five games last year they were averaging 30 ppg vs 18 ppg this year. Even their D isn't as good. Last year they allowed 18 ppg after five games. This year it's up to 22. If you've been gambling during the Brady years you know what stellar records he has in Foxboro both SU and ATS. The Gronk Monster may not play. Brady still has the best receiving weapons he's had in years. Edelman, Amendola, Hogan, and Bennett will get plenty of points on the board. One final clincher. The cherry on top is that the Pats run game has gone from 82 YPG last year to 128 ypg this year, while Cincy's has gone from 111 last year to 84 this year. Pats in a romp.

Baltimore +3' -102 (@ NYG)
Odell Beckham has taken away the soul of the G-men. That's all.

Carolina -3 +105 (@ NOr)
At 0-2 in the Division it's time for Carolina to shit or get off the pot. The Super Bowl loser will effectively have the door shut to their season in Week 6. Their record stinks but they have three losses to Denver, Minnesota, and Atlanta who are a combined 13-2. New Orleans couldn't sniff the jockstrap if those three teams. New Orleans who is 1-6 SU and 2-4 ATS their last 6 in their Dome. Panthers growl.

more coming

Add:

Chicago -2' -110 (vs Jax)
Bears stunk at home last year. 1-7 SU; 1-6-1 ATS last year. Peeeeyou. That was with Jay Cutler under center. But they aree 1-0; 1-0 at home this year with Brian Hoyer protecting and projecting the ball. The whole team is playing better with Hoyer as QB. Cutler was sacked 8 times in two games while the Bears got 4. Hoyer has been sacked 2 times in 3 games while the Bears got 7. The team was -3 in turnovers with Cutler. Even with Hoyer. Jacksonville ? Overhyped pre-season. They stink.
