Atlanta -2' -103 (vs TBy)
Last year, after a 5-0 start, the Falcons forgot how to fly and proceeded to lose 6 of their next 7 games inluding both to perennial Division cellar dweller, Tampa Bay. Methinks Atlanta will be looking to regain their pride here.
Tennessee +2' +104 (vs Minny)
The last three years this team has come out of the box like they were headed to the Super Bowl. Yea Tennessee. +3 @ TBy W 42-14; +3' @ KCy W 26-10; +6' @ Pit W 16-9. That's 3 SU wins as road dogs to open the last three seasons. They're getting points at home this year. All the better.
NY Jets +2 -111 (vs Cincy)
Jetskis are 4-0 SU; 3-1 ATS in their opening game over the last four years. Also 7-2 ATS as home dogs in the same timeframe. Did they get worse in the offseason?
Buffalo +3 +105 (@ Balty)
Sexy Rexy is 6-1 SU as a head coach in his first game of the season. The only loss was 9-10 vs Balty in 2010. He is also 5-1 ATS as a dog in his first road game of the season.
New England +7 -110 (@ Azo)
So lets go back to 2008, the year Brady went down for the year in the first series of the first game of the year. Matt Cassell took over and went 11-5 SU that year. You know the pedestrian Matt Cassell who has gone 25-39 with four teams since. But in that Patriot year the Pats were 6-2 SU and 6-2 ATS on the road, including 3-1 as dogs that year. 7 point dogs? Matt Cassell never saw a doggy number so high. I'll take it.
Monday:
Washington +2' +100 (vs Pitt)
After the first game last year the Redskins (I love saying that word. Hope I offended some pussy, somewhere) were 5-0 SU and 5-0 ATS as a home dog. Someone isn't respecting this team.
